Did you tell them the 16 digit card #, the expiration date & 3 digit code on the back of the card?

This is a scam involving Green Dot Money Pak card. Was told to get money card and once at the Super 8 in Bloomington on 2nd. Ave.S. said to text her the number on the back and she would verify it and text me the room number. You guessed it. Next I get a threatening text that if I try to contact me the'll call police and reportme for soliciting prostitution and noyify my family. What a fucking sap I was. They were very convincing. .Com.muncompletely by text she said her phone speaker was broken. Hope this prevents anyone else from falling victim to these pieces of shit.

Call greendot and tell them a bit of what happened ... If they suspect any wrong doing they will at least stop them from being able to use the card again ... You may possibly get your money back but I would assume you would t want to give greendot too much of your info.

Can you guys do reviews on these rip-off artists please?

Please come and visit- We have a little slice of Britain right here in Minneapolis.
It's called Brit's Pub and it's got all kinds of British beers and food.  A croquet court on the roof

Tinner, sorry to hear.  It can happen to anyone.

Just a reminder to always be careful, especially with BP.

Stick to well-known, reviewed providers.

And if anything seems suspicious or out of the ordinary, RUN!!!!

I was under the assumption that without the reference number you couldn't have access to the funds. Apparently I was wrong. Thought I was safe because I didn't give them the reference number. Anyone care to educate me on this? Well I guess this is just one of those life lessons. Before this I was just horny. Now I'm horny and broke. Tried calling money pak to report this fraud but the wait was 12 minutes to speak to a human will try later when I have more patience. Btw as of this morning the ad was still on bp.

We should educate you?  I think its a lost cause.  Why would they require a charge card--that you probably never heard of--in lieu of cash? That's the first indication of a scam. The 2nd: why would you provide the # to the scammer without even getting your foot in the door?  Fucking dumb.  In the future never provide credit card info to anyone engaged in the hobby--and never ever fucking ever over the phone.  Lastly, I've walked out of three recent appointments before I handed over any money and here's one of the incidents: provider (with reviews) tells me to meet in front of a bar.  Im thinking that's cool she just wants to make sure Im not LE or something like that.  So I meet her,  she's dressed like trailer trash and she wants me to jump in her piece of shit 15 yr old dodge caravan and she's going to drive to her incall.  I'm not getting in that fucking minivan to save my life.  Perfect set-up to get jacked so I told her I'd just follow her in my car . She wasn't cool with that so I said fuck it and took off.   The point is think on your feet and if there's the slightest indication you're gonna be robbed just leave

Your civil job must be a therapist or counselor. You have a way of understanding and comforting that is obvious and comes from the heart.

You nailed it:  perfect passive aggressive response.  Must have taken yrs of therapy to come up with that.
