When asked as a child where my red hair came from, my father always said "Rust in the pipes."

I always got the old "Must have been the milkman" comment as well, only my papa WAS the milkman!!

(and yes, that's sunburn!!)

Perhaps a little application of aloe or some other soothing lubricant?
