It is not anonymous in that you give your real name, but it is very confidential and you pay what you can. They are very good for the routine test.

I have read conflicting posts about this place. One says you can give a fake name and ss# and be totally anonymous and others say it is not anonymous. Just wondering if anyone can clear this up. And no I don't have some big health scare just looking to get a routine test. PM's are fine or answer here.

But as a public health facility, they're bound to strict confidentiality, like any medical practitioner is. The only exception would be, I think, if you were to test positive for HIV (I think that requires having your name in a database somewhere, but I could be wrong about that).

If you think you can have your name placed into a database that gets any kind of government funds and remain anonymous, I have some nice land in Florida to sell you.  Do you REALLY think ANYTHING is sacred with this gov't?

If it's HIV that you're concerned about, you could first try a home test. OraQuick is sold at Walgreens and CVS.

where you can get completely anonymus testing, you are identified only be a number, and you get your results over the internet.  PM me if interested.

Being tested is a good idea for hobbyists and providers alike.
The first time I went to the clinic I was armed with the same knowledge you have posted here. I wanted to be informed with the correct answer.
I was told you can be ANON if you want......

So, yes you can go to the Red Door and give them fake information. However, you must provide the same information to get your results, be seen again and have RXs written.

Personally, I thought trying to remember yet another persona was too complicated. Honesty is easiest to remember.

If you want to be ANON, take one of the online routes.

Best of luck!
