Congratulations on your sobriety! Recovery has many rewards, however we also have to feel those negative emotions and not just use to cover them up.

TER is absolutely horrible when it comes to changing profiles, especially if the provider tries to do it. In their defense, a provider could go in and change things to make her look better than she was. See if one of your clients will fill out a problem report. It might work, it might not.

My suggestion is to get pictures that are representative of how you look now. Certainly show your "assets" but don't completely hide the new weight. Men are visual and might not even read your comments about your weight gain, might just look at the photos and go from there. I feel your pain, I have gained weight because of an injury and can't exercise.

Personally, I like curvy girls, but there are MANY guys who really seem to hate a bigger gal. When one of them sees you he is going to be unhappy. Weed those guys OUT.

The most important thing in your life is your sobriety. Better to have to suffer fools than to be one!

Good luck!

I'm very upfront with anyone about the 30lbs I put on whenever they ask how much I weigh. and I even post it in my ad because I don't want a bad review like the one someone posted about me! I have my weight accurate in my ad, 175lb... I used to weigh 145lb!  Now, I know I'm not as skinny as I once was now that I've been sober over a year ... But, does 30lbs constitute someone commenting all the way through about my weight?? Should I be using other words in my ad than what I use to describe myself? Maybe say small BBW?... but, does 175lb constitute a small bbw? I don't understand! This is not a job to me, but a lifestyle... so I always work very hard to provide the very ultimate best time around!! Thank you everyone for your help & advice!! I definitely don't want to deceive anyone EVER!!! So, I don't know what I did wrong!! Thank you!

ps: I don't even know who wrote this review on me for sure! I mean, it sounds like a possible guy I would've seen, but when I read it... no bells are ringing in my head as to who would've written this!!

which is one category greater then baby fat. Yes, it is a reviewers job to point out that out and 30 pounds is a lot of weight.

So, submit a problem report on yourself and use updated photos. problem solved.

because a lot of my info on my TER profile has changed!!... but, EVERY TIME (which I've asked a lot!!!) I ask them to change something on my profile, they NEVER change anything I ask them too! Not even my correct phone number! I came back to the business with one number, and that phone company was overcharging me, so I switched phone companies. Hence my number change from 218 to 952 now & they WON'T even change it to my current # OR all the other things I've asked them to change, like my weight! :( So, how does one have them change their info when they've put in numerous times to change things, but TER won't ever change them? lol

Congrats on your sobriety! You are more beautiful now than when you weren't sober. Be honest with yourself and post recent pics. Don't worry about one person had to say. Hold your head high and know that beauty comes from the inside. The outside is just window dressing and your "dressing" is beautiful also!

Thank you buckmaster!!

ps: hmmmm' hunting... in your deerstand... hmmmm' the endless possibilities!! lol.

I think if you have more gents review you with the correct info it will change.

I definitely hear you on the recovery things! I never thought about how some girls would lie on their profile page, if given a chance to!... So, I guess that's a very good reason for TER to be hesitant on changing things! But, if your moving from baby fat, down one notch "to being bigger" they should know that wouldn't be a lie! lol. Anyways, my pictures that I use in my ad... ARE RECENT! My ads that TER links to are from 2 years ago! lol! Hopefully, they'll update those soon!!... along with my phone number.... but, probably not! lol.  Anyways, thank you once again sweetie! I hope we'll be able to meet some day! :)

usually submit my request in the late morning or early afternoon. Maybe they have more time during those hours.
I've changed my rates, services, phone number and got an incorrect website removed.
TER often updates the changes within 24 hrs. Hope that helps :

Thank you so much for the information!

I was able to get TER to FINALLY change somethings on my profile so I thank God for that!

Yeah, I've had no trouble either.  I've heard a lot of complaints about how TER does this or that, but I've given them a ton of shit to change or update, and they've always changed, updated, responded, etc within 24 hours.  It doesn't matter what time of day I email them.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but they've been really good to me

I read the WHOLE review and it actually was impressive. I know most guys just key up on a couple words and I wish they would not. I know that review would not deter me from seeing you.

That is a huge accomplishment that you should be very proud of!!

Second,   all you can do is be honest about your appearance.  If you are not already doing so, use your most currents pics in your ads and update your profile to reflect the weight gain.  Maybe in your ad, you can put something that would describe your body in a flattering way.   I don't like words like "flabby" but how about zaftig, voluptuous, curvy, luscious, full-figured, Rubenesque, ripe, and plump.

Whatever term you use, wear your shape and size with confidence

I read the review and did not think it critical, more informational.  For us information that is not correct is to common and it is viewed as a negative.  I thought the review was a positive overall.  Your courageous battle and your victory is the story.  Be very proud.  For your post just have new pictures taken and know that you are beautiful.

Thank You Belinda for all the information and I greatly appreciate it I also wanted to make sure that you know that I appreciate the congratulations on my sobriety as well so thank you very much!

Let me know if you want advise on how to lose that 30, its much easier than you think!
