Hi, folks. I don't hobby often so references are a bit of a problem for me. I'm thinking about finally biting the bullet and signing up with a verification service and was hoping to get some friendly advice from those of you with experience in that area. The big ones that I know of are P411 and RS2K. I'm mostly just wanting to know if either of them (or some other service altogether) is better, easier, safer, more widely accepted, more commonly used in this area, etc. For those of you who are members with one of them: Are you happy with the service you chose? Have you had any problems with them? Do you wish you picked a different one? I appreciate any helpful input. Thank you.

Many touring providers accept RS2000 and a few locals too. If a non member provider wants to verify you, it is $10.00 for her which is not bad considering in many cases their gross return is $300+.
Been a member for seven years now and happy.
I have never used P411 or Date-Check and not really a big fan of them. You have to subscribe every year to P411 and the rate keeps going up. It was $69 a few years ago, now it is $89. I also thought they requested too much personal info which turned me off compared to RS2000 at that time.
FYI - P411 has servers located in Canada and is the service of choice with local providers. A major reason why many men prefer P411 compared to the others.
I did a little more digging into both sites and and found something on P411 that has me a little concerned. It looks like many of the providers there require you to have a "plus 1" or more in addition to the basic membership. Essentially, you have to get P411 providers to verify that you are ok after seeing them. If after getting verified and buying a membership I still need references, that kind of defeats the purpose since I'm wanting to use this to get around my lack of references in the first place.
I'm just wondering if this has been a problem for anyone. Have you found that most providers are happy with the basic membership knowing that you are verified and not L.E.? Or are there still a significant number who will want additional references?
