Kind of odd, this is the first time you have posted anything on the discussion board?
The provider you claimed that No showed you (wouldn't pick up the phone) has over 20 reviews.

Had a appointment set up with Tiffany and she failed to pick up after two calls and a half hour... I'm new to this, but is this something I should expect?

seems to be happening more and more or maybe it is just getting reported more. Either way it sucks.

Although wrong, it does happen far too often.

it's the first time he's posted because he says he's new to this.

So since he is new and she has 20 reviews, it couldn't possibly have happened?

I'm just saying, with no reviews, previous posts, does not give this person alot of credibility....
Could be a jealous boyfriend, a pissed off provider  or could be a newbie that called her for an appointment and during his initial call he said something wrong / rude on the phone and she  told him she couldn't see him or hung up on him.

Vorion, I did not realize she had prior NSNC's..

I wasn't trying to defend her, I was just pointing out a provider with 20+ reviews should be given the benifit of doubt over someonewith no prior posting history.

As one of my previous posts below in the link, I just try and bring things up as I see it & I don't try and take either side(Hobbiest / Provider)

This has come up about her before

How would you react if you posted a comment, in good faith, and someone (let's call him "me,") spun an imaginary tale, out of nowhere, that suggested that you "could be a jealous boyfriend, a pissed off provider or could be a newbie that called her for an appointment and during his initial call he said something wrong/rude on the phone and she  told him she couldn't see him or hung up on him."

You might think that, since this person (me) knew nothing about you or the circumstances of the exchange between you and the provider, that this person (me) was just a dumb ass who who felt compelled to offer a baseless comment, so he could hear the sound of his own voice.

Under those circumstances, I would agree with you.

had to decide based purely on who has more credibility and there was no other source of information - but as Vorlon has pointed out, there had been other incidents reported.  I wish I had a dollar for every ncns incident by providers with a good review history, among other forms of disappointment.

posts like his are simply information for the community to consider, just as the reviews.  none of it can be construed as factual.  if the other party has an issue with the post, she should be able to post her own version of the story.  Vorlon contributed by adding a link to a prior thread with relevant information.  Your contribution to the thread was what? - a personal attack on the OP.  I hate it when these threads are hi-jacked by a white knight with nothing but speculation as the basis.

This really turned into more of an in depth discussion that I had anticipated.  I am not a pissed off boyfriend or some other type of douche.  I assumed that NC/NS were common even among well review provider.  I have read about the 'newbie handbook', and I might be as stupid as I look, but I did not see that on this site. Could someone help me with this?
