How many of you guys have had an escort flat out steal from you?
In July I had what I thought was a wonderful overnight date on my birthday with someone who is viewed as a stand up well liked woman, she is in the MN top 25. I've seen this woman on a regular basis before scheduling an overnight, and even had a nice double date with her and another great woman in May. I picked her up we went out to eat, she even picked up the bill for my birthday. I had reserved hot tub suite for us, it was great. When we were getting cleaned up to check out she said she was going to stay and get a room of her own to get away from visiting family and to relax over the holiday weekend. We said our good byes and see you later. My first mistake was I didn't check out at the desk, I had only booked 1 night and never gave it a second thought when I left. Later that day she called me to say the hotel made a mistake and had already charged me for a second night because she didn't get to the desk in time. She said she would pay me back. No problem I thought, she’s a well-reviewed woman with the respect of other providers. Also I've seen her quite frequently in the last few month with nothing but good time between us.
The problem came when I got my bill from the hotel, 4 days I was charged! She said she thought changed the room payment and no problem that she would pay me back. HA! I've only asked her twice to repay me, no exchanges, just what is due. She has every excuse you can think of. Now I’m just giving her one more chance to do what is right. If not I’m going to see what I can do about it legally. I’m more upset with myself for getting duped by an “upscale” escort

Yeesh.  If this is true then there are two problems here as I see it.  

Problem #1:  You trusted her too much to begin with and you should have controlled your own check out process attached to your credit card!!!  

And, she shouldn't have broken that trust and she should have paid you back like she said she would.

Problem #2  It would be wonderful to be able to trust one another, truly.  However, true colors come out when such "opportunities" to fail each other arise and fail we do!  

SOLUTIONS:

I'd say give her another chance to follow through. If she doesn't then do one of two things:  If you have email or text or other "proof" to show that she promised to pay you back and doesn't then maybe make a jpeg of those exchanges and share those electronic transactions with the general board so everyone can avoid such a train wreck OR not out her but leave us with this cautionary tale to most certainly control your own credit card at all times at hotel check in and check out!!!!!

Your review history shows a doubles session in May. One of those two providers is in Minnesota's top 25. Does that seem accurate? Maybe your post will resolve your problem.

This is all a fantasy, not everything may be as it appears.  It seams she's told one lie to cover another, I wouldn't expect to get reimbursed for the room. The truth is you supplied her incall thus opening yourself up to criminal charges had she been arrested.  Give her 2 more days to repay you, if she doesn't you should post her info to prevent others from being ripped off.

I had a friend once that was going to stay about an hour after I checked out.  When I got the bill I was charged for three towels.  He said "everybody takes towels".  I made him pay me.  And on another subject.  Never leave your room door open or on the deadbolt when you leave.  A coworker did and someone went in his room and made a bunch of long distance calls.  It's not so bad with keycards now, but in the old days with keys they were always hanging in the locks.   bigdell

You left enough clues in your post that there's only one possible person you are accusing.

...when they issue key cards, it's coded into their computer when your stay ends. If checkout time is noon, then at 12:01 pm your keycard will become deactivated and unusable. This would mean that she intentionally had to call the desk and mislead them into believing she had the authority to extend the stay and continue the charges on the CC on file. There at least two laws broken at this point. The sooner she clears this up with you, the sooner this board's members will forget all about this incident and she'll regain their collective admiration. How hard can it be to quickly repay you a few hundred dollars, an appointment or two?

You likely won't get your money back.  I doubt you have any legal standing.   You were a participant in an illegal activity.  The courts are not going to get involved in helping you to get your money back.   I don't think it wise to go to police either (because you were a participant in illegal activity).  

I'd chalk it up to a learning experience.

A provider used your room as an incall location after you left presumably calling down to the desk to extend the stay by a night until a total of four nights were locked in. You are lucky she didn't get busted in the process of using your room as a "house of prostitution" and didn't run up additional charges including meals, theft of hotel room furnishings and/or trashing the room.

If we assume this Jacuzzi suite was at a high end metropolitan hotel DT, MOA, Bloomington or airport area at $300 - $400 / night for three nights, it means you are out close to $1500 after taxes.

The hotel room was in your name, I am wondering why the hotel staff didn't insist that you come down to the desk and personally sign off on additional nights or red flags weren't raised when a female in the hotel room kept extending the stay? Granted she could have stated she was your wife but all hotels usually require you to declare the number of people residing in the room for insurance and liability purposes. How many persons did you declare? Just one or ?

I think that she works at the hotel on the side or knows staff who assisted her with extending her stay. There is no other way this could have gone on for three days without red flags being raised.

You do have some options. First call the hotel and let them know that three nights were unauthorized and request a credit. That will trigger an investigation of hotel policies and processes and anyone on staff suspected of assisting a provider will get the boot immediately and you should receive a credit with a stern warning not to visit that hotel again. The hotel might also have video with time stamps from security cameras of both you and her entering and exiting the building which can backup your case. At the very least, she would be persona non grata at this hotel in the future because staff would be on the lookout for her.

If the hotel doesn't comply, you could call your credit card company and let them know that three nights were unauthorized and you would like to file a chargeback request. The hotel management won't be too pleased about this. Your credit card company will require you to file an initial report and might request a police report too because what happened here is identity theft. She stole your identity and impersonated you for three days. If my estimates of financial damage caused to you are accurate, she could go to prison for up to five years. LE also loves these kinds of cases. Think of the headlines, "Local escort charged with identity theft" or "$400/hour escort charged with identity theft." It will be tricky because you would have to admit to soliciting a prostitute. Other factors based on your own personal situation will have to be considered.

Do you have a copy of the registration card and waiver you signed when you first checked in? It should go something like this....."you are full responsible for all charges made to your hotel room during your stay.....yada, yada, yada." The question is what qualifies as your stay? The one night you stayed or are the other three nights your identity was stolen included? You never ever gave her permission to use your room after you left.

Are you a member of P411 and did you originally use P411 to verify with this provider? If it is who we think it is, then she is a member of P411. You can let Gina know what happened and she might get kicked off P411 in no time. I am not a fan of Gina and P411 but you can try.

I would have been smashing down that room door asking for my key back the minute she told me my room was charged for a second night or I would have called the hotel and said, Hi, this is John Doe, I was in Room XXX and have officially checked out. Please find my key in my room. She would have been in hot soup the minute housekeepers went to clean the room. This is not a business that you can trust anyone.

Now your post was good, you would have said so if she was in the Top 20. It narrows down the list to the bottom five and based on your post and reviews, a degree in rocket science is not required to know who it is.

This conclusion uses the assumption that the OP has reviewed the provider in question. Many guys do not review every girl they see, especially their favorite girl.

unfortunately the more you would say the more you would get under my skin and the more I think I've caught a slight glimpse into how you really see things, so, annoying yes, hatred no.

I can imagine that the information in this thread alone might be enough to severely damage a successful career but why not write a review of the total encounter? Give a deadline and be prepared to follow up with the review. If she won't make things right, I think you owe to other, potential clients to alert them to this extremely negative pitfall to an experience with her.
