Problem is..... will we hold #28 to less-n-200 yards?????

"What the hell was going on out there"   3rd-n-11 and we go..... prevent defense?

WTF??????

#28 = MVP    Could not happen to a better competitor.....

I wanted A.P. to break the record.  Great player. In my opinion, the NFC North would have three of the best backs to ever play the game. (Not in any particular order, Walter Payton, Barry Sanders, and A.P. ) All great individuals and, of course, great tailbacks. Next week will have a different outcome.  However, have to love a lady who likes football and who started this thread!

Great win for the Vikings, but too bad AP fell a mere 9 yards short of his quest.  But he handled the disappointment with class.  On the other hand coming so close to the all-time season rushing record will give him motivation to shatter the sucker next year.  And we know what happens when AP is motivated.

Speaking of motivation, AP has justifiably received accolades for his incredible recovery from knee surgery. Does anybody remember the huge contract he received at the beginning of the 2011 season?  Unlike many other pro athletes who mail it in after getting the big payday, AP has worked even harder this season. Money is obviously not his primary motivation.  The man takes pride in his performance.  GO VIKES!

AP, Rodgers, and P. Manning all have legit arguments.  I'd be happy if they split it 3 ways.

MN loses by 10+ next week.  They are just a different animal at home.

Hope the game is competitive, though.  Good for the rivalry!
