Happy NEW YEAR Everyone!!! I am SO looking forward to 2012!
So some say that New Year's resolutions are pointless. At the gym this morning there was the usual crush of people that those of us who are there all the time KNOW won't be taking up space three weeks from now. So why bother, right?
But just in case there are some of you, like me, who do take a look at life once in a while and see what changes we are ready to try (or try again!) here is a list I found online in Pittsburgh. For those of you who are playful, feel free to add your own funny commentary on these...like I could stop you if I tried!!!!
Happy New Year again!

1. Spend More Time with Family & Friends (or maybe less???? Hee hee hee!)
2. Fit in Fitness (I think this means find time for fitness)
3. Tame the Bulge (Um, probably see #2)
4. Quit Smoking (great idea! But not an issue for me!)
5. Enjoy Life More (Is that possible? I think not!)
6. Quit Drinking (Ok, I'll give it a "shot" for a while...)
7. Get Out of Debt (or more importantly STAY out of debt! I have an idea...only use cash!!!!)
8. Learn Something New (anybody up for new vocab words each week?)
9. Help Others (My specialty!)
10. Get Organized (Again not my issue as far as appointments or emails go, but please don't peek in my closets!!!)
Well, you can't do #5 if you do #6 (well, maybe do a little less..), and if you don't do #1 and #9, you also can't do #5...!!!
So MNGopher says:
Well, you can't do #5 (Enjoy Life More) if you do #6 (Quit Drinking) (well, maybe do a little less..), and if you don't do #1 (Spend More Time with Family & Friends) and #9 (Help Others), you also can't do #5 (Enjoy Life More)...!!!
I say:
You can't do #1 AND #2, but both of those are easier if you do #6 which will actually lead you to do #5. #3 and #4 are no-brainers if you need them, so if you do then bump them up to #1 and so that you can enjoy NOT doing #6 while doing #1 and #2 on this list. Finally, if you don't do #7 and #10 then again you will find you have less time for #1 and #2 because you spend more time at work which further decreases your ability to enjoy #5. As for #8 well...learning something new is the best way to stay young, so that is a priority in my life!
My personal list? No numbers!
*. Stay organized and clear out clutter
@. Enjoy achieving my fitness goals
#. Restrict drinking so I can better help others and enjoy life more
$. Stay out of debt!
1. Spend More Time with Family & Friends (or maybe less???? Hee hee hee!)
2. Fit in Fitness (I think this means find time for fitness)
3. Tame the Bulge (Um, probably see #2)
4. Quit Smoking (great idea! But not an issue for me!)

Now my head hurts.............

Ummmm...which head hurts? (smile!!!)

That's a funny list and all but 3 of them I've tried on some January 1 or another. Never had an issue with Smoking, needing to try having more fun and I've never needed to get out of debt. The rest...I'll keep working.
I will say that I take my annual gym-break from January 1 to January 14. That usually helps my new year start out right! hehe.
Happy New Year, Wendy!
And Happy New Year to you, too!
Good call taking your break these weeks, lol!!! Even the pool lanes were crowded today!
Take care!

I had a pretty crummy 2011 in a lot of ways, so my resolution is simple - less BS in 2012!

I can relate to your thoughts of 2011....Happy it's 2012!!!

Dumped one major anchor and a few lesser ones in 2011 (no, not relationship related) and frankly, don't wish them anything at all for next year. Haven't been this free in years and just need to parlay those moves for a better 2012.
So, my best to all the "good people" for 2012!
1. Spend More Time with Wendy
2. Fit in Fun
3. Enjoy Life More (See #1)
4. Learn Something New (Positions?)

Happy New Year WineYouWendy
I've accomplished most of those goals at this point.
Goals for this year include.
1. Win more poker hands.
2. Fuck more women.
3. Don't have a baby "see number 2"
I see that on your list both "fuck more women" AND "don't have a baby". I also note that you have neither written nor received any reviews, so I can't really be sure of your gender, lol!!! Regardless of your gender I wish you the best in the pursuit of your goals and CONGRATULATIONS on your achievement of the other "usual" resolutions!
Come to think of it, I'm not much of a poker player but I did learn how to play strip poker in 2011... and numbers 2 and 3 also sound FANTASTIC to me so I guess I could add all of these to my list as well!!! ![]()

In all seriousness though I've been meaning to tackle some reviews.
Now if I could only find that brochure on Vegas poker tournaments I was reading ![]()
Well, ok. How about just leaner? Ok would you believe a few pounds less? Forget it. I never keep them anyhow.
I resolve to see Wendy (if she will still have me), after failed attempts that date back over 4 years, due to problems on my end. We have chatted at cocktail parties since, and I hope the invitation is still valid. I wonder if that bottle of Merlot that I have had in the cellar since, is still good, or if a better one is available...so much for the stop drinking resolution...at least as much. I must see her before I get old...OK, really, really old!
Personally I have met Wendy once and would resolve to meet her again! Perhaps the stars will align for us again this year at the same time and maybe more?
As for the drinking, I think I will try to help Wendy cut back liquer but maybe do a little lick her. lol
And I'll just drink in her sensual essence, sexy body, and wonderfull personality!
to try to get out of the pattern that I seem to have developed in my limited hobby experience. A couple providers have exposed me to experiences outside my normal, vanilla approach to the event, and for the most part that has been greatly enjoyable. I need to commit to some changes to the event and expand my experiences in 2012.
Happy New Year Wendy
