So my travel season started way earlier than normal and o got shipped out to Chicago last minute. Looking at the boards here I noticed a lot of what used Yo be our local MSP girls are posting in the windy city. What stroke me as odd of the whole thing is that some of these girls haven't posted in MSP for a while so I imagined they relocated. Are things that difficult here that we are losing providers in the cities? Other than the obvious fakes that post with the same pictures that other takers use in every city I was able to count about 8 girls in a brief look I took through the ads. Any thoughts on this?

Girls have been going back and forth regularly as long as I have been here.

That maybe the reason I almost ALWAYS post with an alias.

so most folks do not wish to be a part of it.  Even the frequent posters (men and women) do not post nearly as frequently as they used to.  Seriously.

this post seems a bit odd, 2 reviews and been a member for about 2 years and you know "many, many" others?  I've been around for a bit and except for some of the ladies, I don't "know" anyone on here....

I know good providers who travel for none of the reasons you list. Are providers who travel to here so ignorant they don't know we are cheap and will double book them?  And do the really dumb ones come here more than once?

(When you go shopping for clothes, a car, whatever, do you only pay full price/the most possible and never shop for bargains?  If not, why not?)

This board is very provider/ad friendly. Is anything posted other than "Your pics look great" considered negative? There was a time recently when almost all of the top 10 posters were providers.  There was also a much earlier time when this was mostly a discussion board, not mostly an ad board.  
 

There are some narcissists in this thread that actually believe the shit they say on this board has some profound effect on others. Dream on.

Most 'providers' - like 99% of them - don't even participate or give a shit about what's going on on these boards to begin with. So the idea that our "negative wasteland" of a board is, or could, be responsible for a mass exodus of providers to other locales is utterly fucking ridiculous.

Secondly, MN may have it's share of cheapskates, but is this supposedly exclusive to MN? No. My BM was a provider in this market for nearly two years and dealt with her share of it, but she also traveled enough to know that Mpls is not even close to the worst city for penny pinching fucktards.  

As long as the economy continues to blow chunks, there will be a contingent of guys who bargain hunt for pussy. Girls can stay and deal with that shit, or move to another city and deal with more of the same; our local economy is doing better than many others in the nation. The grass is not greener. People just like to bitch when they can't have everything their way - nothing new at all.

The Florida board is a good model.  The very occasional flare up, but mostly just solid info, naked pics, and jokes.

and summation.  Cate (oops did I out my alias?) may put up an ad now and then, but active participation and thread-starting nets more criticism and sarcasm that it's worth.  I very much enjoyed the witty weeks-in-reviews by 1Terrapin, but even he got driven away.  Trolls and the just plain rude and nasties abound.  There are still the occasional informative and helpful threads and posts, but the observation of Maybecuz is right on target.

Shame how a handful ruined what used to be a much better forum for advertising and information-sharing.

I agree with the observations of how negative this board is....nasty sarcasm and arrogance abound and cut down many others without even thinking......many many others I know of may monitor this board but will not post for these reasons.

Guys go to bp and then complain because they get no showed and upsold.  A bargain price doesnt deliver as promised if at all.
Good providers travel away from this area as the locals hunt for a bargain AND double book.  Constant
double booking for the "back up plan" with reliable local ladies will get you a bad reputation and no appointments accepted.

It is sad to see what was once a great place reduced to a wasteland. A negative wasteland.

A local ad brings no business and negative comments?  One of the things that Puck actually does quite well is to prevent negative comments on a lady's ad thread so I don't think that's your problem here.  However, a lady's posts on other threads are fair game and I agree there are some trolls here that love to stir things up.

Right now, Chicago has a notorious reputation for being an LE hot spot.
Most traveling girls are steering clear of Chicago, at this time.
Minneapolis does not come with the same "YMMV warning" that Chicago is stigmatized with, at this time.

Very few providers will relocate to another city, if they are struggling in poverty.

If a provider isn't doing well financially, how on Earth will she afford to relocate... to a more expensive city... like Chicago?

Also, most providers have family and children.  Most providers do NOT tour.  Only a handful of girls tour and move around, and those are the ladies with less ties and obligations.

IMHO I don't think the cities has recovered fully from the MN Nice Guys and MFP busts of two years ago.  There are quality providers here, but there are less new providers.  I can understand why a provider wouldn't want to come to Mpls in March, but even in the warmer weather there are less girls that come here.

I will agree. The people who participate on this board has changed much since then.

Some people are positive, some are negative.  Sone actively post, some lurk and some are trolls.

Some people lash out, others take it.  Some guys prefer blondes, others prefer brunettes.  Well, maybe more like me, like blondes, but it's the same everywhere.  2 years, 5 years, 10 years and 20 years from now, people will complain that not everyone is the same and sees things the same as themselves.

As the saying goes "All this has happened before and it will happen again."

The board will almost certainly come back.

So this thread is a bunch of people complaining and being negative about complainers and negativism?
