It's kind of funny, I was thinking the same thing earlier today. How does one find out? I'm assuming a provider would have to invite a trusted hobbyist?

They have been few and far between the last couple of years.  last one I know of was late last summer.  I have been trying to get one started but not having the connections or experience doing this has not happened.  I know there are people who have done them and hopefully one will step forward.  Best way to find out is to watch the Meet and Greet board on the TER General boards.  If you or anyone else needs help putting it together please let me know I can be PM'd.  I know lots of people are interested but no one seemsto be able to takek charge.

Or at least limited to smaller groups of people who are well checked out ahead of time.  Good times but a lot of people consider them too risky to attend.

I have fond memories of those parties.  
It was nice to meet everyone.
But gatherings like that don't happen anymore in the Cities.  
It was all consenting adults, but they started attracting unwanted attention.

First, The Erotic Review has a separate discussion board for meet and greets. Meet and greet events appear to be popular in high entertainment stimulus (e.g., Las Vegas and South Florida) areas.

The majority of the meet and greets discussed on that board lean toward serving a true social function. However, Minneapolis formally had enhanced meet and greets known as "working parties."

Working parties allowed clients to sample a lady without the formality of an appointment. The basic pay-for-play scheme was a 30-minute session for $150.

I was able to attend such an event in the Minneapolis area several years ago. I was a fairly new hobbyist (i.e., less than six months) at that time. The experience of a working party forever erased any romantic visions that I may have harbored about the hobby. The spirited euphemisms describing working girls (e.g., courtesans) are fraudulent.

In any event, I have always valued my attendance at the working party. It put the hobby in its proper perspective and liberated me to enjoy the hobby on my terms.

Before the internet made hooking up much easier, I used belong to a group in the western metro and we would sponsor meet and greets out on the big dinner cruise boats on Lake Minnetonks,  I suggested this on a post in June, so let me suggest it again.  I would really enjoy a meet and greet to mingle, enjoy cocktails and get to know each other a bit and make appointments for later.  I would be willing to charter a boat on Lake Minnetonka to do this (capacity of about 45)  I would pay for thr boat rental and the bar and food would be split between the gents so tha ladies would enjoy a evening on the lake, dinner and drinks on us.    If this sounds like something anyone would like to do, PM me and we will see how many have interest and see if we can get a date that works and set it up.  Then I will post updates here on the board. I would say we need at least 10 ladies and 15 men to make this work, but the more the merrier.  We'll call it the LUST BOAT M&G.....and one big plus, we are out on the water, no LE worries unless they send a scuba team ... LOL.  Seriously, there would be no p4p on the boat, just adults out for a very friendly cruise, totally legit and legal. Of course nature does takes its course from time to time

To be honest, I started having parties because I love attending them.

One of the parties even had a naked sushi platter.

I could be convinced of hosting another party if someone could assure me that lips will remain sealed. The last party was drastically downsized due to loose lips.

Oh and a note to Doggy-Daddy...there are only private / utr M&Gs in NYC; this is because someone invited a reporter to the last major M&G held. So, there are not *public, *advertised or regularly scheduled M&Gs.
