On the night this disastrous new board format was rolled out, I demonstrated the absurdity of this format by shilling on a post made by a provider over eight years ago, thereby bumping that irrelevant post to the top of the page. Yea, that was a shitty thing to do but I did it to make a point, a point not lost on others.

Me, I'm going to use TER Advanced instead of the new format. It has soul and personality that the new format lacks.
I woke up to a really nasty email this morning about my request on the suggestion board and a post I made here yesterday which I pulled after deciding it should go on the S&P board because this is a TER wide problem, not just a MN board one.
Ok, so we have a new board format and there are lots of bugs to figure out. Yesterday, I noticed one of them was the bumping of old ads on top of new ones. This is something TER said wasn’t going to be a problem if you check the “ad” box in the post, but it is a problem. So I figured in the meantime while it is being fixed, we can all work together to make it less of a problem.
So anyway we all love shilling and providers need to update their ads periodically with new photos, updates on doubles, etc. This is ALL understandable and something we have come to do quite regularly because it worked with our old system. But now we have a new system that bumps old ads above new ones when any updates are made.
Just yesterday, I noticed old ads were bumped above several new ones, including but not limited to Samantha and Remy. My concern is if Samantha (or any provider including me) posts her ad at noon it shouldn’t be bumped below an old ad from two days ago. Unfortunately within an hour Samantha’s new ad was bumped below an old one because someone chose to shill on an old ad. This is not fair to her or any other provider, thus my suggestion that we all knock it off until the problem is fixed.
This problem is not specific to any one provider, I am just using specific ones from our board as an example. This affects us all as long as there is the glitch in the new system. And this should not happen to any of us. So I had a simple request that in the meantime we all stop the shilling or whatever.
Oh and I said let’s work as a cohesive group until this is figured out.
That is all I was saying. So if the guys wouldn’t mind sending a PM or email with their shill, that would be of help. Otherwise we can wait until TER figures out the problem.
we are classless group if we have to resort to sending scathing emails under a made up handle! and giamarie is not the only one who has been getting nasty nameless emails lately. Seriously, folks. if you have something to say, then send an email with your normal email address or a pm with your normal handle or call and talk to the person but why do it without your name attached ? what point does that serve?
I am never afraid to state my view, right or wrong as you think it may be. I have clearly stated my opinion on the s&p board and the PO board. Whether you all agree with me or not is your perogative. If you think I am wrong, state your opinion and show me a better way. Debate me, debate Giamarie. Make us think about it. Make TER admin think about it. Find a solution to the problem like we are trying to do and stop your bitchin' already!
I am sick and freakin' tired of all this damn fighting already!! WTF happened to the days when we were all laughing and joking and having a good time? I want those days back, damn it!!!!!!

A lot of people are aware of this issue now, and I hear Admin is trying hard to fix the situation. I guess until then it's inevitable bumping will still happen for many reasons. I'm just happy to hear that the issue will be fixed eventually. Xo.
