Recently I've been using a free VPN service that is ad supported, so when you go to a web page an ad appears at the bottom of the browser page. No big deal, It's free right. Now to the hmm part; when I'm on TER, the ad that pops up is always about how to view your arrest record online. Hmm

It gets even worse than that.  Lately I have been noticing that things I talk about verbally on the phone will show up in my ads.  And I don't mean services like Google Voice, I mean a conversation on any android or iPhone.  It is sad, but there's really no reversing it.  The vast majority of Americans are strongly in favor of trading privacy for "security" and free services.  The "right to privacy" folks have now become a minority and are being marginalized as crackpots who are anti-democracy and pro-terrorism.  When the NSA story broke there was outrage from foreign leaders, and not so much as a whimper from US citizens.

On a funny note, if there is one...  What does it mean when I am at work, and all my banner ads are suddenly about fire extinguishers and temporary housing?

I gave up on America when the Patriot Act was passed.

I'm curious how many people have heard of or are a fan of Alex Jones?

As a matter of fact, I have heard, and listened to Alex Jones, compliments of a family member, who  listens quite frequently.
In a word, at times it seems that the views that he presents, are a bit outlandish, however if one pays close attention to his statements, and compares against that of what he is pointing out, then
the subjects, are quite a possibility.

But I'm pretty sure I remember all the times I've been arrested
