This has to be my most hated part of the business aspect. The worst part is, it seems to work. The same gals stay around for years doing the same thing. If you don't drop the extra $$ you'll wish you stayed home. Yet, every once in a while, you'll read this great review of someone that (apparently) really loves upsells.
I'd much rather see a tiered menu up front than arrive to the surprise that we have to negotiate like I'm buying pork bellies on the exchange. That's some erotic stuff right there.

I personally hate upsells but honestly I don't offer all services to everybody. I consider my self gfe but the true definition to me is bbj. I to offer this to everybody. I try to inform people my two different rates but it is hard To discuss things I find it ackward when I do , do it but I'm not going to do it for my plan rate.

For me, upsells, clock watching, playing with cell phone, and watching tv, are a sure fire mood killers. Clarifying every detail up front will save problems for everyone.
Then there's those of us that CLEARLY have rates for all budgets, are upfront about rates and yet they still don't get it and try to negotiate the rate when arrived leaving room for upsells to occur. That's a big mood killer : making it awkward by having to discuss rates after I've already played them out ahead of time.

I couldn't agree more. Although some may find it awkward, clarify the details up front and stick to them. If you desire more than you agreed to then you should expect to pay more. Poor communication starts wars. Conversly, good communication greatly increases the chance of a positive outcome. Broach all subjects up front or expect to have varying results. It's easier for all involved to walk away if you don't agree up front.....no harm no foul. Have fun out there boys and girls.
If I'm spending my hard earned money and am looking for true GFE, I want the reviews and rates to match their website and TER profile. I've done my homework and I want what $$$ pays for. In this situation, I expect the rates to be accurate.

Not for me. I'd much rather know the menu in advance, discuss the session briefly at the onset, drop the envelope and that's it. Seriously I don't understand how it can be a turn on, but that's why I had to ask the question and I appreciate your input.
