Last Winter, I had major issues w/Comcast.  They said it was due to the cold weather & that there was some kind of connectors somewhere that would expand , contract, etc.

Call Comcast & get an appointment so you, at the very least, are on their radar.  They never really fixed it last year but I was a squeaky wheel & it must have been fixed over the Summer since I have had no issues this year.

I now have jinxed myself...

I connect from home (through Comcast) and I have been unable to connect since before Christmas.  From Coffee Shops, etc. it's fine, but from home it cannot even find the URL - no matter which computer I try.

It's not my computer because I'm connected right now at a cafe.

Is it just me?  Is something flaky going on?

Started about the same time as yours did.  I have access to two WiFi sources.  The Earthlink one doesn't work (two different computers), but the Comcast connection works great!  I am using the Comcast connection now.  Go figure.

From the pre-Christmas time frame originally mentioned, I could not connect via earthlink. Figured it was something with the anti-virus and anti-malware on my computer, but I didn't screw around with it.

Only now, with new installation of Qwest DSL(not for this specific purpose, mind you), can I connect.

Some PC guru must come on here and explain what's going on. That, or TER must explain why some who pay for memberships were shut out for so long.
