The reason we ask for an ID is to run a background check on you. If you have another way of accessing this information without an ID I am all ears. If you as a client are doing even a smidge of homework you should be able to find extensive information, pics, reviews, etc. on the provider you want to see.  If you don't, that is a giant red flag.  And yes, even little po dunk me in the middle of Wisconsin has been in active "high end" markets in other parts of the US. I require the same screening information and I had no trouble getting my entire dance card filled with several on my waiting list. *You* may not "operate" that way, but to try and categorize an entire market that way is completely false. I do not accept references anymore and have posted extensively about this as well as to my reasons why. I am unsure why you would be perplexed as to why a provider would want to know if the male she is about to be in a room alone with has domestic abuse and/or sexual assault charges on his file, but hey, every day is a learning experience buddy!!

There was another sting on the north side last week, but I cannot put up any links because LE has released the names/pictures of clients. Be careful.

BTW, there is a local crime site that posted the incident a while back, and they have a comment section for the article/bust. Rather interesting comments from others about what should be done, spending money, what kind of clients, and the SOs. Once again, some names were mentioned in this article, too.

Some more client names/photos have been released. I just looked up one person on Google.REALLY! It should be lesson 101 for everybody on here...security is so important when you participate. All your personal info on the net, individual/family on SM, your business background...for years. Don't DM for any information about this.

Are you talking about the one in which 22 guys were arrested? This was another underage sting. I have zero sympathy for any guy who thinks this OK. If the person you are chatting with at any time says they are under the age of 18:
LOG OFF NOW.
The fact they are still catching guys is mind boggling.

Bingo, you are right, and I agree with your statement. Felonies all around. Most of these guys were looking for this type (how these stings work), and even if you made any contact (without coming in), you could be in trouble.

No, that is not how they work. The stings are very specific. An ad is placed with a young looking female. Once someone responds to the ad the decoy with then engage with sexual language asking "what you want". They will then start injecting $$ into the conversation. Next they will say "my ad says I am 23 but I am really 17, is that OK with you?" Now the majority of decent males at this point will say no, and end the conversation. If you continue to talk to this person that you have now been told is underage you are a complete piece of shit idiot and yes, you may get in trouble for this. And if you are actually dumb enough to show up then yes, you will be in a lot of hot water. Not sure how many are actually looking for underage or are just too dumb to think with their big head in this situations.
DO NOT discuss sex acts.
DO NOT discuss money.
If they say they are under the age of 18 LOG OFF NOW.
You are paying for their ADULT time only.

It's not only an obvious, massive red flag but anything that indicates that the person with whom you are communicating is not an adult should be your sign to cut off communications.

Dont forget to send your driver's license, your LinkedIn and business cards....Its stupid when providers insist one of these info. Next time provider ask for your drivers license ask her to send her license to you...stupid stupid

Most individuals that run into issues when sending personal information is they do little, if any, research to confirm the provider is in fact a real provider. Please also be aware in these sting situations LE will very seldom ask for any personal information be sent. They are going to try and catch as many men as possible in the sting so they are going to create as few hoops as possible for guys to go through. You are going to get caught in these stings by what you say and do in response to what the decoy asks you, not if you send them your personal information.  If you do not wish to give out your information that is of course your right, but in sting situations the advice you are giving is just not accurate at all and actually counterintuitive.  You are way more likely to be talking to LE if they ask for little to no screening information. The ID is not what gets you in hot water, it is the incriminating texts from some horny dude only thinking with his little head that does it.
1. Do NOT offer any $$ for any sex acts. You are paying for their time only.
2. If the "provider" says they are under 18, end the conversation NOW.
Please also be aware I have several clients that unfortunately been caught in these stings (none underage related) and I have only had one say he was asked to send a selfie, no other ID info was asked or sent. The other met the decoy in a bar where he was arrested, he did not send any personal info nor was he asked. The others were not asked to send any info other than their name and were arrested at a hotel when they arrived.
If you have any more questions about how to stay safe in this industry please feel free to ask. As long as our industry remains illegal we will have to continue to police ourselves to stay safe!!

I've been perplexed by the frequency of request for government or work ID. The only way it will stop is if we all agree its a mistake to send it, and don't do it. We rely on references, so should our provider partners.  Even another more active, higher end markets, like New York City, don't operate the way.

Give me yours and I’ll give you mine, want to give it a try?thsnks my idea, see you really all ears?

I am an open sex worker. My real name is easily accessible. Thanks for playing though!!

For those who are confused on why SWers ask for personal information, but will not provide it:
There is a huge difference in risk taken on by provider vs. client. Clients risks are mainly financial and legal; being scammed out of some amount of money, getting in trouble with the law. It should be noted that LE likely will not screen, as their main agenda is to make a quick and easy arrest. However, these are not small risks, which is why I implore all potential clients to do a whole lot of research into how to find a safe and legitimate provider before reaching out to anyone. On the other hand, the provider takes on these same risks, as well as risks to their physical safety. We would much rather lose out on a client who is uncomfortable sharing private info than to lose our lives or risk traumatic experiences.
Providers also often take great measures to prove themselves as legitimate. I've spent thousands on my business, as well as many hours of behind-the-scenes labor, to show potential clients that I take this seriously as a career and therefore wouldn't want to jeopardize my reputation for ANY reason. I actually have sent my ID and photos of my face to ad platforms so that they can confirm my legitimacy, so it feels redundant to do this with each individual client. Not to mention, there's a greater risk on my end of being stalked by giving out my personal information than on the client's end. I have already done work to show my legitimacy; screening is how the client shows theirs.
Finally, as the client, you have an abundance of choices; I wait for clients to reach out to me. If my requirements are unsuitable for a client, or I otherwise do not seem legitimate, they absolutely do not have to reach out to me. They can instead choose a provider who has looser requirements or someone they would feel more comfortable sharing info with. It would be ridiculous for me to say that clients don't take risks, and I want to say thank you right here for every client of mine who could not provide references who trusted me with their information. It is a personal choice to decide that that risk is worth meeting me for, and I have so much gratitude for everyone who made that decision, and do everything within my power to continue to earn that trust through the safe handling and disposing of that information. I will also note that while I've definitely missed out on money by being strict about my requirements, I've also only seen clients who I've had an amazing time with. Many (not all) of the users that I've seen on here complaining about screening often have a posting history that shows me that I would likely not enjoy my time with them, nor would they enjoy their time with me, so in some ways, my requirements save them time and money if I was ever on their radar.
The best way to keep client and provider happy? Advocating for the decriminalization of SW, as then both client and provider have fewer risks to navigate, and more resources can become available for the safety and privacy of clients and providers alike.

I entirely support checking references, and I won't see someone who doesn't, it lacks judgement and raises a real safety concern. For me, sending my ID is just one step too far, even I understand why some want them.  I have numerous long standing references that attest to me and safety. I am just not willing to trade my privacy, and still wonder why others do.

PS - I am also very glad to pay a deposit to help make the situation comfortable.

Rex Heuermann's protege here has been advised that offering a provider extra money to forgo screening does *not* make providers comfortable.

Negotiating screening = *NO*

Move on to another provider.

A few small words of advice. I have read some of your posts on here, and you come off as a racist, elitist, narcissistic, douche canoe. If you think posts like that are going to have the ladies lined up at your door you are wildly mistaken. And most important....welcome to the Midwest! Now get that government issued ID out and ready, Mr. tall and handsome mid 50s WHITE professional male!!
