Agreed, too much risk for cross app interaction.
If you really need to, I would recommend using it on a separate  hobby phone device.

Question. I notice many providers using Snapchat. Guessing for communicating and maybe even for verification. Now I have a Snapchat account with friends and family. I just don’t know how to use it with alias or this type of use on the DL. Anyone know how or any advice would be appreciated. I think this could be a useful tool just need to be private with it.

I spoke with my neighbor this morning in my back yard.  My headphones were on and I was listening to spotify and my cell was charging in my truck 30 feet away.  I had been operating a backpack blower when the guy walked over.  We talked about golf and he told me he had just bought a new set of Callaway Apex Pro irons so he went and got them and I chipped a few balls with one of the wedges.

He left after a bit and I spent the next hour finishing my work.  When I scrolled facebook later in the day, I'm getting golf club ads.  I'm seeing golf club ads on websites on my desktop tonight.

I'd think twice about social media and the hobby.  My .02

You're mixing a real life account with your hobby identity.  That's a bad idea.  Keep them separate.  It's just like you should have a separate email account and phone for your hobby activities.

Snapchat messages disappear after you read them.
.
I can't remember all that.  I need messages that hang around.

I believe there is a setting or you can hold down in the message to “save to chat”. That being said, most of the girls on there seem to be fake/too good to be true and ask for deposits to meet. Tread carefully

You can actually change the settings for the messeges to disappear after 24 hours instead of the one time read.
