The chess game on my 'puter is predictable as well. It has a several strategies which it employs. The first game may take a while, but the next three games will be much easier until it switches tactics.
Still, it serves as a distraction when I want to escape the task at hand. It is also something somewhat mindless to do when taking phone calls.

Personally, I am huge into gaming on my tablet. I kick ass on Clash of Clans, tap my heart out in the Simpsons:Tapped Out, and slide my fingers all over Jelly Splash and Soda Crush ☺️

I have had 3 computer chess games given to me and it took less than 3 months to find a way to beat them.  Once to find the path it never changes so it is a lame game if you have learned to play and see 12-20 moves ahead.

I have not tried any online chess games.

debating?  I love a good debate.  It is fun to pick a side and see if you can support it enough to get others to change sides.  Then pick the other side and do it again! lol  Research and support of a debatable issues can teach one an amazing amount on issues that are on ones mind.

I love finding indie movies on Netflix. Sometimes I just watch the bad ones and laugh. It's like a train wreck. Horrible, but you can't seem to look away!
