I guess I was coming from the point of someone who is not being watched or on radar of LE
I'm not sure what that's all about, and I'm unaware of anyone on twitter who talks about what they openly do or who they want to meet in a public manner.
I was simply saying twitter is where you link or friend your FRIENDS and last time I checked we are all still allowed to be friends with whoever we want.
I have followed a lot of quote-ing twitter people, for all I know they could be Columbia drug lords that post that kind cool things I read on their twitter. I'm sure LE has better things to do then to try and make trouble for anyone that may be online friends with someone else.
I'm quit sure most follower and readers of blogs have never even met in person.
What can I say about 'if LE wants you they'll get you' we'll of course they will, I guess I'm kind of thinking their smart enough to know what would be considered a waste of resources. Of course that's not always true, but whenever people start adjusting their behaviour because of possible consequences, then it's time for someone to step up & remind each other we live in a free country. Right?!???
I mean really right?! Lol

Just wondering how often you gents read a lady's blog or vlog such as Vine/website?
I think its a great way to get to know more about a lady, updates are always fun as well.
I like to read them especially before an appointment to get an idea of what you're like and what interest you have if nothing else it helps to have something to talk about during those awkward first moments of a date.
Personally, I think social media is a very indiscreet way of communicating one's thoughts and if a provider should happen to get busted, the electronic record helps make a case against them.
Are there such a thing as life coaches? Consultants? Massage therapists, personal assistants...the list goes on & they all
GET PAID for their TIME,
While the word "escort" may make certain ideas come to mind, escorting is NOT an illegal activity!
To further assume one is not allowed to communicate via social media is very strange and maybe even a little outdated in my opinion.
Unless there is conversation about sex for money, how in the hell can your twitter, Facebook or blog/vlog be used against you???
I mean really- escorts are NOT terrorists people
If some people can blog about their alien encounters or post strange Walmart pictures, and all the many other silly things people "public media" about.... What the hell is wrong with linking your (alias self) to a few sexy, lovely ladies...or reading about what they've been up to.?!
I say, come on people lighten up!
Social media increases visibility and has the effect of putting a target on a provider. Your "escorting in NOT an illegal activity" quote is legally true, but if LE wants bust a provider they will eventually succeed. The fact that you are an "escort", but screening to avoid police contact belies your underlying activity. Why screen for LE if what you are doing is legal? Rub their nose in it and they will take the challenge of finding a way to bust you.
This is a pursuit that should be kept behind closed doors.

*sigh*
I'm friends on Twitter with the Incredible Hulk, or at least a drunk Incredible Hulk. I'm also friends with his really real personae, but that guy's an asshole. Their are a ton of sex workers on Twitter Mistress Matisse and Stoya both have awesome feeds btw) and a large number of them actually work on educating the public about sex work and their is a growing number of researchers helping them advocate by supplying real concrete numbers to back up their claims.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with a sex worker being on Twitter and following whoever the fuck they want. Hell, I'd strongly argue its a very good thing that they are publicly networking. It makes for a safer environment for them, however counter intuitive that may seem.
Now if you excuse me, I've just discovered Nien Nunb is on Twitter, and I'm hoping he'll be open to my request to finger his face folds. You know, for science.
Nothing "wrong" with a sex worker being on twitter.
Raising one's profile increases public awareness of your activities, sometimes with people you don't want to meet. e.g. stalkers or LE.
Your "strong" argument is not argument at all. "...its a very good thing that they are publicly networking. It makes for a safer environment for them, however counter intuitive that may seem." is an assertion that basically states: "Common sense says I'm wrong, but I am really right".
It is the intellectual equivalent of an "Are too", "Am no" argument among children.
*sigh
I prefer one on one conversation with providers. I do not have a Facebook or a Twitter in my personal life and when I am on those sites I feel like a stalker. If I want to know something about someone I like to ask them. I personally like to get the whole response from someone I am talking to. I want to see non-verbal communication and real responses. I do not want to read scripted or well crafted answers to questions I did not ask.
I read blogs and twitter of a limited number of people. I have learned some very interesting fact, opinions, etc. as written by the person; the vast majority of which have been very positive in nature. Helps determine what that person is like and whether I think there would be a good chemistry if we met.
I think its a great way to get to know more about a lady, updates are always fun as well.

I've followed some ladies via social media, and it seems that nearly all of them ultimately fall afoul of some rule that gets their accounts locked, suspended, or removed. It's yet another challenge in an often challenging business.
First. It's also a nice way for me to thank them for following... I have seen some pretty graphic (fun) things & like someone else said some interesting educational things on twitter. I just want to make it known that an account being locked is more than likely by design from the person themselves.
I've actually never heard of anyone getting "kicked off" twitter. =)
And please consider this a personal invite to anyone who cares to follow me.... I luv my tweeples

*******I have a twitter and my account is locked -as in protected-by me,so I can look over who follows me and accept them

My experience is that almost every provider I've followed on social media has eventually left social media, from escorts to massage providers. It doesn't make me excited to start following another.
Anyone I have intentions of seeing I will read their blog follow them on Twitter etc... It's all a part of finding chemistry (fake or not). I'm at the point in time in my life that if I'm paying $300+ to see someone we're going to have a good time.
All the new media available to hobbiest now really should be used (blog, twitter, vlogs, etc...). Companions are on these platforms for a reason. It's to share with potential suitors who they are (from a professional perspective). From what I've experienced they are very engaging with you.
Sum it up use whats available to you flirt, be engaging, share some of yourself (with in reason) with companions. I think it really enhances the hobby experience
