I pull this off on the GD Board, I think it is too important and didn't want anyone to miss this.

This of course is JMHO.

Oh my god...this is VERY scary I know this was meant for the girls, "good," to show who could be at the door. But, I'd be so scared if this happened to me...some man asking me about CL safety.

After watching the entire video, Amber began to upset me. She was trying to show girls to screen, but why complain about your job on television? Use your, "$4,ooo/week," job to open that restaurant, nobody seems to be MAKING her give massages.

Amber had good intentions, but I just think she is throwing every provider under the bus.

But this kind of behavior was around long before CL and will continue I'm afraid.  CL is just the convenient target of the moment and is being used because of the Boston murders.  The reality is that if these sorts of ads weren't on on CL when this happened, they would have been somewhere else.

I've never seen a media piece on escorting that wasn't biased to present escorting in a bad way

So basically, the producers just wasted all of these women's time for a little bit of camera humiliation and no compensation? Really nice, NBC.

I know that CL is not the problem or the solution.  It's just that so many girls don't screen, I don't care what their advertising medium is.

No screening opens everyone up to legal dangers.  Girls get caught in a sting, next thing she's used to sting guys for a reduced sentence.  Or worse yet, we have another "Boston" incident and someone dies.  No mater how you look at it, this is bad for all of us in this hobby.

Yeah but there do seem to be SOME well respected and well reviewed people here that don't screen (albeit are still responsible in their judgement).

So how does intuition tell you the guy is not some psycho during a phone call?  You would learn more about me (BTW I'm not a psycho) from my posts on here than you would from a phone call setting up an appointment.  Remember every guy that contacts you to set up an appointment is selling you.

At least for me it has always been a feeling that something is right or wrong, not a conclusion I come to by logic and facts.

That would be the feeling or intuition they get from talking to the guy on the phone setting up the appointment.  That would be all they could use to form the conclusion that the guy is safe.

My point is that you can not use feelings or intuition to make this decision.

and I think it's just plain dumb not to. When I first started and didn't screen at all (I didn't even realize it was an option), I definitely met a few guys who sounded really nice on the phone but treated me like shit in person.

I think most girls who don't screen don't do it because they're so desperate for money they don't want to lose potential clients... and desperation rarely makes for a happy/satisfying experience for anyone.

Obviously many do so it is possible.

OK, yes, I'm being difficult but I think the reality is all (or at least the vast majority) of us do this sort of thing pretty often.

Is it wise?

Not always; the evidence is damned clear on that.

We live in a world where we often don't have enough information to make good decisions at the time when we are called on to make them.  Often we go ahead and act instead of holding off and trying to get more data

Sometimes that blows up in our faces

Sometimes the consequences really suck.

Life has a risk factor, and most people go about not concerned about the odds of really bad things happening.  Things like the Boston killer, what are the odds, one in a million?  If you are the "lucky" one your safe, if you are not your dead.  There are a lot of bad things that can happen that are not so devastating, case in point, how many ladies did that guy just rob or mug?  Is the risk worth the possible reward?

All we are really talking about is screening, just basic checking out the person that they let in their place and their body.

We men need to understand and encourage the ladies to be safe and to screen.  It is a miner inconvenience that could save the life of some of out friends.

I just think that a lot of them simply aren't going to do it.

I know a lot of them won't screen, I just can't use them.  I can not risk it, if they get busted I don't want any trail to me.

I agree with you.SCREENING IS KEY.
I've always kept my guard up since I started long ago so
I've rarely had any problems with any gentlemen.
However, over the years there's been a couple where I was like don't let the door hit ya' where the good lord split 'ya'
desperate is dangerous IMHO.

Hey, it is television sweeps month. All TV Networks and affiliates show this type of scintillating stuff in order to bump ratings.
The better the ratings numbers score the more they will be able to bill for ads until the next
ratings month which is in Nov.

Maybe I was too hasty when I said that some well reviewed popular girls i've read about don't screen, more that they don't require references I guess (since obviously at some point someone is going to want to see someone and have no references to give because they still haven't actually see anyone ).
