Yean, I don't see what the big deal is..... I mean, You wash up your entire face anyways after a date, right??? So what if there's some extra cream on it first. 
And it's a great visual for the partner. I'm careful though to not get it IN my eyes though. First time I let someone do it....total novice and I had my eyes Open. OMG. It really really stings....and turned my eyes so red.... I don't recall how well Visine even got "that" red out. lol... Maybe that's why they do that, if they've had a few bad experiences. And then of course getting it in your hair is a whole Other kind of mess!
