Part of the courting and rating ritual of the Sandhill Crane,is engaging in unison calling, which is a complex and extended series of coordinated calls. While calling, cranes stand in an upright posture, usually with their heads thrown back and beaks skyward during the display. In Sandhill Cranes the female initiates the display and utters two, higher-pitched calls for each male call. While calling, the female raises her beak about 45 degrees above the horizontal while the male raises his bill to a vertical position. All cranes engage in dancing, which includes various behaviors such as bowing, jumping, running, stick or grass tossing, as well as wing flapping.
hmmmmmm, well, I don't make the higher pitched call until later, LOL , but I do dance and if I had wings, I'd flap them while dancing overjoyed to be spending some August time with YOU!
I have openings for both incall and outcall starting tomorrow and have made a few adjustments to my donations to better fit your budget. While it has not been a very warm/hot summer so far, I promise I can do something about that and will not throw grass or sticks in the process!
Check out the page and then write or call and leave a message! Hope you all have had a nice weekend ! xxxoo J.
I'm not sure any male can keep his beak horizontal when around you. It's more like the 45 degrees or higher and will need some attention from you to relax it.
