I opened up the reviews page and the first page shows new thru 3 days old on the first page.  It's pretty rare to see that.  
 That's a hell of a drop in volume of new reviews!  Has TER got a back log they can't timely process?  Are guys tired of submitting reviews?  Has the economy beginning to take it's toll?

A quick review of the data has 12 Non K-girl ladies with a total of around 20 new reviews and 3 K-girl with over 20 new reviews.  Will this be the new normal or just an anomaly?

If people start wondering about their ability to pay their mortgage, cutting back on seeing providers helps with that sort of thing.  But there are also times when it is simply statistical fluctuations and the number bounces back before long.

I feel like it's gone on for months, I hear from other providers in my local network attribute it to increasing prices and tax season. It's been going really slow for a while... I hope everyone is getting by okay.

The industry has changed so much in the last 10-15 years. Providers no longer have to have reviews to be successful. Only fans and some of the other online platforms have also allowed providers to have other revenue streams and not have to only focus on in person sessions. The Asian agencies and massage parlors are for sure filling the lower cost void that was left by most current in person providers moving up in the services they offer, longer dates,  as well as cost. Street sex work still exists in some areas but again because of the internet is mostly nonexistent anymore. You don't see as many gals doing sex work as a means to survive or to support a drug habit, which is a good thing. I am one of the few that does sex work full time. Most have another job and this is just a side gig for extra cash. The entire industry has shifted and I guess it is anyone's guess what it will be like in 5 years.

Like mentioned... people don't need the reviews to gain customers like in the past.  OF, X, FB, Insta, etc.  All can get the ads, traffic, and revenue.  Selling content, live shows, live online meet and greets, etc. all can provide revenue once was only gotten by in person meetings or dancing (back in the day).  Yeah remember the days when you got action in the VIPS or could take a dancer home or get digits for a meet up.  Those days are not long and gone but are few and very far in between compared to in the past.   The add in the SB sites, cuddlers (some do favors other dont), etc.   The world of one on one escort/companions has changed greatly.

Plus the simple fact that the porn addiction is more real that people want to admit.  Especially in younger age groups.  It is easier for younger people to turn to online/porn than to get rejected in the civie world and the fear of getting caught pay the $$$ with the escort world.  They find it easier with OF or free porn online.  Sad but true.

But it isn't all doom and gloom.  People thought this same thing when covid struck.... then look what happened a revival happened.  Things will turn around again.  We might not see it here with reviews.  But it will happen things in live are always in cycles.

I think the asian joints that have popped up have taken a significant chunk of the market.  Pretty tough to compete with that price point and level of service.  The explosion of bbfs is a great concern though now that a lot of non-asian providers have gone down that path as "as long as you're tested".   I've pulled way back as I think there's a storm coming.  Pretty much a massage & bj for me now, lol.  

That is an interesting take about the BBFS and also a concern as well.   Especially with the whole PREP and other meds on the market.  Is that giving people a false sense of security?   That could be a whole other topic of discussion and would love to know some providers thoughts on this.

Testing does help and can keep people safe about 98% of the time.  Look at the porn industry.  They to every now and then have "out breaks" of STI/STD that happen even with testing.  Now most of those outbreaks are due to people lying on testing or agency/studio's pushing the limits on testing type stuff.   But it does happen from time to time.

But you are correct the "lure" of BBFS does seem to be taking over.  I know i have gotten DM's asking about this more now than ever.

There's been issues in the past with people using fake currency so what is stopping them from creating their own testing results?  The types of guys that would do this are the very ones that are likely carrying a whole bag of disease with them.  I'm not sure I've got  lot of confidence in what we'll hear after this....that providers can actually spot the difference between real and fake.   Just watched an AI video of Trump gorilla dunking over Lebron and knocking his on his ass.  Now, while I believe Lebron could be knocked on his ass by a charge from my late grandmother....  The point is, this shit's getting pretty damn good and can be produced by anyone with 30 minutes of research and a few bucks to spend.  

The sex work industry is a business industry like any other and is not broken at all, it is supply and demand. If the demand outweighs the supply the price will go up. If supply increases the cost will go down. This is basic economics.
