The key part of the message is not to leave your cell phone unattended. Someone would need to physically access your phone to program it with spyware.

Can you be more specific on the message you just posted about the specific state you mentioned and the laws that pertain to it? Are all states examining this issue ?

If you leave your phone unattended and someone happens to install this software they will have the following access:

1.  Receive all of your calls to and from your phone
2.  Receive text msgs that you receive
3.  gps tracking of your location
4.  listen in on background when the phone is not in use
