I spent some time with an amazing provider last year in exchange for a gift card.
Is this something that others would consider? Most cards can be verified online at the retailers site.
I had that arrangement, the lady verified the amount, and I guess spent it before I saw her. She was a reputable lady, but had I been an unscrupulous character, I could have called the gift card company to report the card as "stolen". Why not give her a PayPal My Cash card? It's anonymous and anonymity is preserved by both parties. Take a picture of receipt, card info, send it to the lady and she can plop it into her account with no names or email address needed
and then a few more, and a couple more. Then you get to the point where you have like $0.34 left and you just feel like you can't spend that last remaining balance. I bet that pisses off a provider. I heard last year there was a provider in Cleveland over the holidays that blacklisted a bunch of f**ks who gave gift cards for just that reason - saying the dudes shorted her. HAHA

Maybe I'm a little naive. I always assumed it would be a bad idea to mess with someone/provider that has some pretty damning personal information . I would never consider it. Maybe I have misjudged the level of trust that I thought we all needed to have for each other. Oh well, Happy Holidays to all.
you could possibly find some that may be up for your GC donation strategy but cash is king in everything. Best to siphon off some Jackson's from your wife's checking account over time, save 'em up, stuff an envelope and find your lady for the evening.

some guys with SO watches over the bank accounts like some IRS agents with a fine tooth comb and want receipts for every penny spent. (especially if they noticed a pattern of cash withdrals along with unexplained missing time.)
