i use tossible digits u can have a private # transferred to any phone at any time.. doesnt mean will help w # searches but cheap additional # and u can block callers as well and it keeps records of all calls
So I google my phone number, & "GASP!" There before my eyes is every site I've ever been featured on, & four others, I have NEVER heard of! Time to do some "cyber cleaning." I DON'T KNOW HOW!!!!!!!!!!!
To begin with, I am going to get a new phone number, & change my name. But what next? I want to do things the right way the second time around so I don't have to deal with this in the future. Geeze! Can I even make what's out there disappear at this point? Any help would be very much appreciated.
GIRL, it happened to me too. Some site posted me I'd never heard of. It happens people steal pics all the time. I learned from a great woman Miss Max, my click clack idol, hehe... She actually "owns" her pics and although she does not free lance she uses those throw away phones to talk to clients, her real identity was out-ed by a creep stalker long ago. He gave her address, everything just from having her real number, now that was my BR days so about 5-7 years ago. That sucks. Get a boost phone or pay as you go and you don't even have to use a real name to turn it on. That's the best I got for you on that issue hopefully someone else can help further.

If you put your phone number on P411 it will be Google searchable.
But even more surprising, if your P411 profile is coded "members only" the number is still Google searchable and a Google search will take you right to the profile without being a member of P411.
Google's little spiders really like phone numbers!!
Does any of this information lead back to your real identity? I would think the biggest concern is to not have stuff out there that someone can easily use to figure out who you really are. Once data is out on the net, it is hard to get it to go away but so long as what is out there is just about your escort identity, you should be OK.
The internet and google are a funny thing and a strange beast. Once stuff is in there its really hard to get out but not impossible. I google my self frequently jic and go on about removing anything I don't want out there. Hopefully you cant link the number to something too personal like a facebook account or something like that, that is private information that even if you remove it can remain in the google cache for a while. There are ways to get information that is out there off but its challenging.
Cleaning up your internet tracks is tougher than clearing a bad credit report and is sometimes impossible. I've noticed a couple of questionable escort sites that appear to scrub info from other legitimate sites, report it, never update it and never take it down. Even if a site is removed or changed, cached version are usually available if you want to look hard enough (visit waybackmachine.org). The best (and maybe only) strategy is to be very careful controlling any future info that may make it's way to the WWW. I suspect that some of the dedicated individual escort page hosting sites have safeguards built into them because they don't seem to be indexed by major search engines. I've had some luck working with clients to have website owners remove specific info but it can be a challenge getting to the right person and convincing them. Sometimes you have to threaten the domain name owner or hosting service.
