New to the hobby and looking for some advice.  I am wondering if my body type will turn off some providers.  I am overweight but clean and very polite.  I obviously dont want to be embarrassed by a provider, or make her feel uncomfortable.  Do some providers discriminate based on client looks/weight?  I am probably more the type to find one person and stick with someone I connect with, rather than multiple people just for fear of rejection.  Any tips from men or women would be helpful.

Despite the fact that you are a Laker fan (LOL), I will offer an answer - and reassurance, I hope. Among the many wonderful gifts the gifted ladies share with us is acceptance. If you are clean, polite, appreciative and respectful, you should have no fear of being judged based on your appearance. In addition, I think it's fair to say that women in general tend to be less concerned about appearance than us guys.

You should, of course, always patronize well-known providers. Since you are new to the hobby and do have the concern that prompted your post, you might feel more comfortable with a somewhat older provider. But that's up to you.

Finally, as long as you are respectful and not explicit in any way, you can certainly express your concern when communicating with the ladies as you make appointments.

In sum... fear not and hobby on!

I personally do not discriminate on age,weight or other issues that the client may feel may stop him from seeing a lady.
I think your question is a good one but a personal one. Its every providers personal choice.

Most of us guys are significantly older than the ladies we see and probably not in the best shape.  I know I fall into that category and have never had a problem.

I felt the same way as you did when I started.  When every I meet a new lady, I would always be up front with her before we met about my body size.  None of them had a problem seeing me and I always had fun!  Just be up front with them before you meet.

I echo the words of CordialSport.  You will be fine with most ladies.  Personally, I glean more satisfaction in the "hobby" from the personality of the person, than the physical appearance.  Put your vanity aside, and enjoy the ride.

Now!  You really do have a problem with your handle.  I'm a Minnesotan all the way...but you may consider changing your handle to LeBron James dude!  LMFAO!!!!!!

We all have things about our bodies that we would consider imperfections. Sometimes, we are our own worst enemies in that regard.  However, those imperfections are part of what make us who we are.     You have nothing to worry about, hon!
Let yourself go and enjoy your time with the lady you choose.

If the ladies would only see young gentlemen, that are in shape, most of us would never be seen.

I think most ladies will overlook our imperfections and be more turned on by good manners, respect and kindness. It takes a certain kind of woman to be a good provider and the well-reviewed ones and those who participate on this board are top-notch.

Besides, if they enjoy my company (or at least that's what they tell me) then you should be in like Flynn.

Personally I'm a full-figured lady, so I had your doubts before I started providing two years ago.  

I found that there are a lot of men out there that are just like me, who are attracted to the heart, rather than the body.

I think as long as you are clean and respectful you will be charming the panties off whomever you choose!  *Giggle*

I've got clients who are 5'2 130lbs and one who is 6'8 380lbs and clients who are 23-71 in age.  I'm sure most providers are like this as well.  

The important thing to a good provider is that you are kind, clean and respectful of boundaries.  

It could just be me but I doubt it!

1959 was the last year for the Lakers in Minneapolis.

I was self-conscious myself when I started to hobby. But I remember reading a blog from a provider who felt upset because a man called her to set up an appointment, but then he pointed out something about himself and asked if it was still alright for him to see her.
She felt bad because a man would feel that way about himself that he felt the need to point it out to her. She went on to state that the guy shouldn't have to feel that way about himself with her because that was what she did: she provided something that the guy maybe wouldn't otherwise get. And since I read that I didn't feel self-conscious about myself from that point on.

And it is true. Some of us will never have a chance with a certain type of woman otherwise. But they provide. Want a blonde with big breasts? They will provide. Looking for a woman that will wear black lace and garters for you? They will provide. Want someone who will let you massage their sexy feet? They will provide. Want a MILF? They will provide. A redhead? They will provide. Tall, short, athletic, skinny, full-figured, brunette, green eyes, blue eyes, long hair, short hair, big breasts, small breasts, ...whatever you want: they will provide. Thats what its all about...you both provide, you both consent, you both leave happy.
