Let's face it. Most providers who post on CL, CV and BP are not exactly known for being business savvy.
While the idea not to share emails with competitors and potentially lose business makes plenty of sense to you and me. I doubt it makes sense to them. By exchanging emails, they may simply think of it as making their pool of potential customers larger.
Many of these CL, CV and BP are known for traveling in groups, sharing hotels rooms and incall locations as well. Many also share phone numbers or trade them. I wouldn't hold it beyond them to share email accounts and addresses.
Often providers advertising as "independent" share a booking agent/screener, "manager" or are simply friends and share email accounts.

Or she may be mining email addresses somewhere. Your hobby e-mail should not be linked to your regular email. (Same goes for hobby phones.) I had a provider e-mail my old hobby account... which I foolishly reused since it was a dirivative of my regular e-mail. I gave her my new hobby mail & got her to delete the previous one... that was the last time I saw her.
