Reading all the other the NSNC reports were a with a bit of grain of salt.  Now first hand experience after a while in the hobby is frustrating.

It is like waiting for your review to be posted can't do anything else, always checking to see if it was posted.

I had an apopointment today which was set with a well reviewed lady for an hour.  Setup yesterday and appeared she made note of it.  Even called later and discussed some options of what to wear.

Now I understand - adjust work scheudle, take another shower, anticipation, waiting and calling a couple times - for the last of the smokers I even refrained from smoking for the morning, which was the hardest.

At this point until I talk with her I will not out her.  Just wanted to vent and comiserate with the rest.

Its kind of hard to put a stop to it when rarely do we ever know who the culprits are.

You have my simpathy as I have been there and done that but until we start calling these people out it will continue.

To simply not show up for an appointment and not call or give explanation is just plain inconsiderate, that applies to both sides of the fence!

I am in the middle of packing, getting ready to move on Sunday and am still managing to periodically check my PM's and emails, make a few posts, and make and keep a few appts in between all of this packing and sorting through stuff.   There are only a few valid excuses and I would feel horrible if something vital happened that would keep her from a date but even then it is so easy to make a phone call or send off a quick little email or pm!!

Again, I am sorry this happened to you and I do hope you are able to find an alternative soon to help relieve that frustration!

Why not wait until after you have talked to her, to see if it is really worthwhile to post a NCNS here?

In my opinion, there is really no point in posting a NCNS, without details.  All the people who chime in with condolences, really don't care all that much.  When you read someone else's NCNS post, do you feel truely sorrowful for the victim?  Probable not.

And, usually all these "no-info" NCNS posts do, is give other providers a chance to tell you how good they are, because they would never do such a thing.  

Frankly, WHO CARES????????  Get over it!  Move on!!!! Or give the details!!!!  

And, of course, any accusations don't carry much weight when you use an alias.

You seem terribly disturbed by some minor latin silliness.

Its my bet the excuse has something to do with a cell phone problem. Heard em all:

1. Ran out of minutes
2. Got shut off because I didn't have the money to pay the bill
3. Dropped it, lost it, dog ate, etc, etc, etc.
4. Forgot the charger at home and the battery went dead.  Other versions of this - left it in my friends car, thought I had charged it but it wasn't plugged in right, etc. etc.
5. This frigging Booste Mobile phone is unrelible and I just now got your message.
6. I couldn't get a good signal
7. I loaned my phone to a friend and didn't get it back
8. I left my cell in my other purse
9. My purse got stolen at the club last night and my cell was in it.  
10. I changed my plan it took a day for the new one to work.  

There are at least another 20 or 30.
