"She might be willing, but if you piss her off, she can try to blackmail you or go to the cops or anything.  Just best to avoid really young looking girls, even if they insist their of age. "

Unless she calls while I'm in the room, how would she report me? I sure as hell don't use my real name when hobbying.

I also thought about the email for a young girl on BP. Very few BP ads have emails, I know as I have looked.

Now we have to do an age check before we commit a crime?

I'm posting this with an alias, for good reason.

I contacted a girl through backpage recently, and I count myself lucky in a lot of ways.  First, she was stupid enough to respond with her real email address.  Without that, I never would have known.

The girl claimed she was 19, and provided a picture.  I was skeptical, and decided to further investigate.  Looking up her email address, I discovered she had a twitter account, and that twitter account was public.  In looking through her tweets, I found a message from a few weeks ago where says says she can't wait to turn 18 in 6 months.

Yes, that's right, she was 17.  Ugh.  Needless to say, I confronted her about it, and she proceeded to lie, claiming that someone had stolen her identity (the twitter feed went back a couple of years) yet somehow, shortly after I alerted her of the tweet, it was deleted.  She then tried to blow various other smoke up my ass, and then her twitter feed went private.

Finally, I just gave up and stopped responding.  She insisted right up to the end that she was 19.  What is it with these people that, when confronted, they can't even bother to admit it.. just keep denying denying denying, hoping someone will believe them.

In any event, be very careful guys.  She might be willing, but if you piss her off, she can try to blackmail you or go to the cops or anything.  Just best to avoid really young looking girls, even if they insist their of age.

For obvious reasons - do NOT post the link.  I had an eerily similar situation over a year ago and PM'd the moderator to alert him of the situation.  He advised that I simply contact BP to let them know.  I did, and stayed FAR away from her.  Somehow she still managed to get a review here.

In hindsight, I wish I had made an anonymous tip to LE.  Her Facebook posts indicated that she was living large, and she continued to post on BP - but several months later her pimp was arrested.

goodlife, could you PM me so i know who to stay away from, thanks

I have no idea if this is an accurate post. And, since we have no idea of who the poster is talking about, it really doesn't matter.  But, there are some interesting parts of the post which lead me to believe that this could all be made up, and now we are all suspicious of every "young looking" girl on Back Page.

First, he says he contacted the girl "recently".  Not today, not this morning, not yesterday.  If the poster is so anxious to get the word out, why not post the day he discovered the girls deception.

Second.  Very few woman (expecially young ones) use any kind of email on BackPage.

Third:  Does it make sense that a guy who is concerned about getting caught with an underage woman, would then undertake to keep communicating back and forth through emails?

Fourth:  Most escorts wouldn't take the time to continue to argue with an obviously upset client, who is never going to show up.

Fifth:  Regardless of the TER rules about links to underage providers, the OP never made a single attempt to include a link (it would have been deleted, but there would have been a notice of the deletion).  And, he could have put some identifying information in his post.  Something like "she goes by (insert name here), and says she is (so tall) ect.

He felt obligated to come on here and warn us, but felt no obligation to be specific.  So, if he is trying to make everyone a bit nervous about all the young looking providers on BP, this would be a pretty good way to do it.

Of course, we should always be careful, no matter what the circumstances.

Most, if not all Backpage ads allow for an email response by clicking on the Reply link at the top of the ad.  The form that is filled out creates an email to the ad's owner.

It sure would be nice to know who we're talking about.  None of need to go through something like that and if someone has some info that would help us be safer, please share.  PM's work for me too.

It might give you some ideas on best to handle this.  Because you can't post the link to the ad here, your advice, while true, doesn't really help.
