You know there is a sports board for this and you can even win free VIP days.

... here, especially from providers, that we can't have these threads about cheering for our local NFL team cluttering up the board!

I see it as a subliminal ad for Karley.  Any time you can get your name into someone's headit is good advertising.  bigdell

And there's nothing subliminal about it.

But who cares?  Every provider should realize that a good way to keep her name "out there" is to post on the local board every now and then.  Karley clearly knows that.  ;)

Spot on your call dude.  Don't quibble  about term. Just call it for what it really is.

That's  her specialty .  The Ho's   need $$$ to chit chat with you, not for free.

The point of prohibiting ads is that otherwise the place would be inundated with them diluting all other topics.   The point isn't to prohibit any possible allusion to provider services.  Of course a provider is going to benefit with publicity for just about any post -- so some people could object to just about anything as a threAD.

I'd rather encourage them to post as long as there is some semblance of an interesting topic involved.  I am sure the TER administrators can handle the borderline cases without all the self-appointed thread Sheriffs weighing in.

As I alluded above, tongue-in-cheek, it's not like there's an over-abundance of posts here lately--from providers in particular, but also in general.

I fail to see the big problem with a good-natured shout-out for our Vikes... threAD or no threAD.

Seems to me we're doing fine with some non-P4P threads.  After all, this is far from the first time such a thread has appeared and we don't seem to be inundated with them.  If that were to change, it can be deal with then.
