Well yes, I happen to have read your posts from time to time, and from time to time, I have viewed the pictures that you post as well.
However, to be honest, I am more attracted to a certain look, or type of provider, and you, as well as Many other providers, are on the fringe of what attracts me in physical appearance.

Most of you women are drop dead gorgeous! and Yes
as a male, I do fantasize about many of you, however, I am not compelled to go any further, such as approaching the majority of the providers.
If it were Free! It would be for Me!  
But as we know, nothing in life is free, so I am more focused upon a certain look, and feel.

As a younger male, I found it difficult to keep it tame and in my pants, and I was like a kid in a candy store, full of candy, all of which I could sample!
Now that I have sampled a Huge pool of candy, I have defined, and thus narrowed down my selection process.

I think certain aspects apply to others as well ?
It all varies of course by the Man.
In our younger years, as we were learning about ourselves, and about women, we were more prone to losing that internal argument, Should I ?
As we learned about our own tastes, and so forth, now We are more prone to say, been there,
done that. Less excitable and more focused upon
the entire package, as opposed to jumping in and out with any or everyone.
Men may be whores, but We are still the ones paying for it, so we are going to be very selective to say the least.

You couldn't prove that by me. Lol! My business has continued to remain steady & there have been weeks where I have had to reject requests. Other ladies have reported the same.

There are guys out there with money, they just want to get the best value for their hard earned money. Why would an investor plunck down $300 for a 6 or a 7 when he can get a 9 or 10 for $300-400.  

Why so much disdain regarding the ladies that are not "model material?" Please speak for yourself. I have no problem with YOUR preference but I can assure you us "7/8's" are not left for wanting. Take this lovely young lass for example....

Thank you for explaining your point of view. I just like a little clarification where some opinions are coming from. Particularly when they appear to be fueled by a bit of venom.  

although many of the providers here might not like to hear this but.....  the recent lull in the business could be attributed to the price point that many providers are charging.   many of you ladies seem to have eliminated the 30 minute appointment in favor of 1 hour or more.  and $200+ for an hour is simply out of reach for many of us who enjoy the hobby.   i'm guessing that the elite providers in town are not seeing a huge downturn because many hobbiests are spending their $$ less frequently, but on higher-end providers.  since i'm not a provider I can't know what its like on the provider side of things, but I think in general that most providers here in town need to reduce their rates to a point where business picks up again....and then gradually increase them if they desire.    its all market driven....  if something costs more than what people are willing to pay for it then sales of that product go down.

leann....   I absolutely LOVE alex!   not only do I think she looks incredible, but her personality and attitude are second to none.   she knows how to make a session hot, and she has is just plain sexy.   now you have me thinking....I may have to call her today!

I think Leann is a great example. I've never had an appointment with her (she probably wouldn't see me anyway since I argue with her all the time!), but she is great at mixing it up and creating different experience. Look at her add this week. I mean who would want to watch a ballgame with a sexy lady? But more importantly, when you try to compare that offering with someone else's, it becomes subjective. For that experience, Leann has established the best price. $300 for an hour vs. $300 is pretty easy to compare against. What about $300 for 90 minutes? All things considered, not that much more effort and it creates a somewhat unique price niche.

Recently several ladies raised their rate. Seem that one does it many will follow suit. Also seems to imply that the current economy can support the increases. Probably far from the truth. When it becomes apparent to some of these ladies that the demand just isn't there, we will start seeing more specials and reduced rates, It's economics 101.

I think a great way to combat this is offer discounts for  TER and P411 members with provider references..  
My hour is 300 because it allows me flex for TER and P411 members and I keep it the same on my Slixa, BP, Eros and other places..  
Its like a great way of saying thankyou for screening and respecting my safety here's a lil bonus

1. The $250/hr price was pretty standard for the top tier ladies just 4 years ago. In an absolutely flat economy, it's hard to understand why the standard seems to be at LEAST 20% higher now at $300 unless the demand is higher that than supply.  

As already stated the goal should be a monthly or annual income. The idea is to draw attention and drive interest long term and many ladies have mastered that in different ways. You don't have to lower your rate to do this but you should offer an incentive. Here are some option to consider;

No matter what the price point is, marketing is the key. For a great example of marketing look no further than Leann or Samantha.

300 has always been the going rate for the most popular providers. Don't know why anyone would pass on Karley.

I don't have the patience to read this whole thread, but a few things pop into my head.  #1) the OP was exhibiting courgage and sincerity in her post, under as close to a "real" name as you get here,and some of the responses, under alias, havee been rather snide, and sideways, or just straightforwardly offensive.  The OP/provider when posting under her name is exposing herself, and the alias commenter, while hiding him/herself, is protecting only the self using an alias.  #2) Chacun a son gout.  You can express your own taste without denigrating someone else's.  #3) I've enjoyed several sessions with Karley, she is a well-reviewed (by myself and others) provider, and anyone who lets the sideways comments of others dissuade them from seeing her is doing her and self a disservice--she's beautiful, in person and photo, she's hot, she provides a wonderful session, and her price point is not exorbitant.  #4)  No wonder the majority of providers on this board post what I would call lightweight, fluffy types of posts.

It take courage to tell the truth and if you actually read Mr Thumper's posts you will find the truth. Sure he may have come across as too direct, especially posting under his alias, as we all know alias' are by nature evil in every respect. What you should find when reading this is that it's not personal, as he stated, it's business or marketing. All successful business' have a marketing plan that includes a competitive pricing structure and a plan to increase sales when things slow down. This is what prompts sales, discounts etc, they are not set up for the benefit of the consumer but to keep the sales rates up in slow times.

We all like a good deal. I would pay $350 for my Coach purse but given a sale I will be on that like white on rice.  

I've learned from experience that is the BEST way. Remember each opinion is ONLY that. ONE opinion. NOBODY here is in a position to speak for the majority despite the fact some may like to think so. Posters on these forums are in the minority of the actual hobby community. Remember that sweetheart. You've come into a lag. That's all! It happens to EVERYONE. It will pass. True story.

Good points all around -- OP showed courage and brains to ask for honest feedback and has listened with respect and gratitude. Similar points about supply/demand have been made countless times but I think it does come down to economics.

Iron, I think that is a great idea. I think too often women dont want to appear to be pushy or "salesy" so they don't ask the question. Personally I love it when women really share that they had a good time as well and would like to see me again. It strokes the ego, I would likely schedule the next visit on the spot. Primarily because I feel that she is really trying to connect with me above and beyond how other women do. It makes the experience more personal, and for me its more about the overall experience and the emotion not just the sexual acts performed.

sounds the best to me 90 min. for the price of 1 hr. is a great idea for a special.
