"Proper" language on this board

Good grief, so many people here trying to control the language on this board.  This is not really surprising considering the cancel culture going on in our culture generally. My advice would be, just stop.

It doesn’t affect whether you set  or don’t set an appointment, or shoot your load  with whom ever you choose to do so with does it??  If it does not my problem.

It’s just hierarchical mentality bullshit. Play that game if you want.  but not everyone is going to.

TER  guideline say that insults, intimidation , name calling etc have no place on this board and will not be allowed on this board ever .
The also go on today that comments should be those in conversation with said person
To date they have not appeared to stop these in moderation ( we do not see those they have) and seem to feel that the present interchanges are making the site more interesting and bringing more traffic
What they fail to realize is how many are getting disgusted and leaving especially on the provider side
Until the ownership or moderators step in nothing will change .

Only in the very worst cases have they acted.

nor is it cancel culture to make a simple request. A request may either be honored or declined and it’s obvious that it is being declined. That said, if the moderation team feels that certain behavior doesn’t violate the rules, then we have to respect that. The decision then falls on each individual to either keep interacting on the board or to step away.

However, given what the individual stated about “treating others with respect” and “treating others how they want to be treated”, I thought it would be worthwhile to ask. Respect can be given in the written word as well. When someone went so far as to post an insulting thread about me and my body (which I get it fellas - many MN TER users aren’t attracted to my body type🤷🏽‍♀️, one of you can stop emailing me about it😂), I didn’t devolve into insults when hit with disrespect.

As they say, hindsight is always 20/20. Had I known my request was going to implode to the level it had, I would not have said anything. I digress.

I hope that everyone is able to have a great holiday whether with family, friends, or going it solo. Sending everyone love and light.

Sir, at no point did I say “I want to control the language.” I made a request and you declined said request. If the TER mods believe your language does not violate their rules, then I respect that. I fail to see where I’m pitching a fit in an effort to control the language used on the board.

Personally, I think people who are not sex workers, in this instance, escorts, should shy away from using the terms: prostitute, hookers, ho/hoe/heaux, etc. They do not deal with the stigma of being an actual worker in the industry. However, should someone use those terms am I going to respond with an argumentative tone? No - I make the adult decision to not respond or respond in a non argumentative tone. Why stress myself out & argue with strangers on the internet? We’re adults.

Also, I do remember you showing kindness in that moment. I thanked you... then. My point of bringing that up wasn’t to insult you, as I know you defended me. The point was that when it happened, I didn’t respond in a way that escalated the situation. I handled the issue like an adult... like we all should.
