I'm sure this has been brought up a million times but I'll do it once more. I'll be in the metro for a few days and have a couple providers lined up via e-mail. If I buy a prepaid phone from walmart will a number come up on the providers caller ID or is it a blocked number? Do you have to sign for anything when getting these phones or is it really "no-contract", just pay for some minutes and I'm set to go. Don't want any evidence on the normal phone bill if you know what I mean so I thought I'd try a prepaid phone. Any and all advice is welcome if you please!!

If your savvy enough you can also just make a google voice account and do all you biz from that (I must have a thousand of them!)

Yes prepaid smart phones also exist. Providers get one, and never access anything form a home computer!!  
 It's a lot easier to get rid of a password protected prepaid smart phone & keep possibly a bunch of information private then to throw out an entire computer or laptop.

You should be good to go.

However even the cheapest smartphones are a bit of an investment for a weekend stint out of town...  

Google Talk is very easy to use and is free. Prepaid phones are cheap but take about 10 minutes to set up and sometimes up to 24 hours to activate. Also if you know anything about Skype that actually its pretty easy and cheap as well. You can access it from your phone or your laptop.

The enormity of that process and the mass amount of world wide users on Skype, you'd need to be doing something rather diabolical for any L.E. to ever try...

Usually I'd steal wifi from a local motel to activate but the last burner I got lazy. Me thinks it's time to be reborn lol

frequent TER name changes, you lose your background such as whitelists and reviews fairly constantly. This limits your ability to pass screening.

All your anonymity goes right out the window once you give your info to the first provider or agency... Anytime revenge is sought against you at any point in your future, that info will be available to a psycho-provider that thinks you've done her wrong, is a far greater fear than any L.E. Tracking your phone will ever be...

Why do you need to be so careful? The wife look at the phone bill? Business phone?

I will concur with much of the sediments you have stated. However, I do have some different tastes
than you.

I have no interest in the "sudo-professionals" that treat this like a career path and work for agencies, or have their own websites, or typically advertise on the ever-dying EROS site... I only date young amateurs on backpage and livelinks and screening is NOT part of the culture in that realm of the market! On rare occasion a girl will want info and I just blow her off... But all it takes is one time for something to go wrong and then there are a list of calls you've made to escorts using your regular phone that you don't want others (LE, boss, SO, family and friends) to see.  If you use a hobby phone that is not tied to you and something goes south, toss the phone in the trash and get another.
