by this afternoons storms in MN!

7000 people in Mpls without power!   Hoping no one is injured and no severe damages.  How a storm like this can come out of nowhere is beyond me.   It sounds like another round tonight.  

If anyone in our hobby community is affected and needs anything, please feel free to call me.  I can certainly offer up a shower, a meal and shelter.

I've certainly picked up my share of street-meat over the years in the area where the storm hit... (There's an apt-based AMP right near there too, wonder if they were hit??)

in my  44 years...one lifted the house of its foundation with my entire family inside it. Scared the fucking hell out of me.   Trees down, damages done, 7000 homes without electricity.  When it happened to MY family, I thanked God that our neighbors were there with fresh water, a pot to piss in,  dry clothes, and a place to spend the night!  

Call me mushy or whatever but I happen to like  the majority of the people I have met through the hobby and if they are without electricity tonight they are welcome to crash here.

 Maybe the rest of you couldn't fucking care less about your "friends" here?   So sue me because I do.

PS. I landed home safely via plane five hours ago and am blessed that I was not negatively affected by the storm. Had I been affected by the weather (other than sitting in Chicago for hours), I am certain I could count on you. Further, I know your gentlemen friends can count on you for that and appreciate you.
