Potential First Timer Question - Best/Worst cities

I will be a first time customer (in the US.)  I have had my fun on vaction in Cancun, but haven't wanted to risk it at home yet.  

What cities/suburbs have the most active LE?  Any cities/suburbs that are more safe?

Is there any LE near the Casinos (TI and Mystic?)

A well reviewed provider is also one more likely to pick safer locations.
