For many years I have been VERY active in the community and have been with many very lovely ladies over the years, both locals and travelers.  I have also come to know a few very respectful gentlemen as well.  

This delightful activity has always been much more personal for me than to possess a "hobby" of racking up yet another trophy.  I've even taken a fair amount of criticism in private for not being able to wrap my mind around the "hobby" concept.  It has been suggested that I leave the "hobby" since I just don't fit in with what this is all about.  I have come to the conclusion that I do not fit in.

When the "hobby" starts to take over my life so that I am preoccupied with one aspect or another of it, it is time to depart.  I plan to redirect some of my financial resources into other worthy endeavors at this time. I also want to regain my perspective on my total life including my job and my family, to say nothing of my other interests.

To all the ladies I have been privileged to become acquainted with, thank you for the kindnesses you have shown to me.  I hope you can feel that I have bestewed a bit of kindness on you as well.

It is unthinkable that I will not see any fine and worthy providers ever again.  The "activity" I have enjoyed so much has been an important part of my life for over four decades.  It just can't rule my life anymore.

I hold no ill will towards those who have been lobbying for my departure.  There just seems to be a bit too much broken glass in the sandbox and I am, admittedly, a tender foot at heart.

Sorry to hear that you are getting out of the hobby.  I certainly don't know about those who are lobbying for your departure and if that is the case I think you are leaving for the wrong reason.  On the otherhand, if, as you say, you are finding that the hobby is taking over your life then I do applaud you for taking a step back. I for one, would be the first to admit that this darn hobby can be very addicting. And yes, I will admit, just don't ask the detail That I have spent way to much time and energy on a lady or two in my short time in the hobby.

Hopefully a step back, or away from the hobbie, will allow you to regain your focus on the important things in life.  Once you have found those again, if the hobby has a place for in your life then great.  If not, even better (hehe) Think of the money you can save. Heck , you might even be able to get a new car!!

Thanks for your well wishes!  I have always tried to take the high road in this activity and am happy that I have.  To answer your question, no I have not been forced out.  I'm too stuborn to let a couple of yahoos rule my decisions.  I am leaving for reasons that only serve me and my interests in life.  I am not a fighter and when the "hobby" becomes a constant battle with just a few people who can't understand clear English then I begin to lose interest in dignifying them.

But beyond that, the "hobby", as many call it, has lost its glitter.  I began back in the days when you just call one of your favorite ladies and she either answers the phone or returns the call with very little delay.  Today it is more like a maize one has to struggle through to weed out up sells, no show/no calls, bait and switch, menu limitations, even some total rip offs.  Heck, by the time you find the exit from that maize the urgency has worn off. lol.  

Of course, there are some ladies who are genuine and sweet.  I would not lump all the ladies together.  I've just found that I don't need the "community" to find those lovlies.  Best of everything to you!

I don't know why anyone would lobby for you to leave.  I researched your posts and they all seemed fairly benign.

I have always held you in high regard. Good luck to you in all your endeavors in life. We have lost a good community member.
