What would you think if it came to light that a provider was threatening and harassing both local ladies and traveling agencies?  This harassment includes, spreading false rumors, calling them at their work, sending their TER profiles to their family, leaving voicemail messages so their kids can hear them, or just trying to extort money.  It appears the locals that are being targeted are independent ladies that are single.  It is a very scary situation for them.  It would seem the ones that are being targeted have the most to loose.

Why would anyone want to do this? Does this person want to try and control the market or just discourage the ladies from staying in the business? Why the attack on the agencies, to stop sending their ladies to Mpls? And we wonder why none of the local ladies want to join in on the board, with intimidation and harassment coming from somewhere…..

I hope I can avoid meeting this provider.  If she harasses other providers, just think of how she could harass us.

This would not be a person I'd want to meet anywhere, let alone in the bedroom.

I can't stand people who have no respect for others.

It's unfortunate that for so long, this board has had a misguided reputation for being "anti provider" in its tone.  Yet somehow, we overlook the fact that almost every instance of the tone becoming caustic here were hobbyists thrashing other hobbyists, and providers thrasing other providers.  (and usually under an alias that was assumed to be a guy)

I've said this many times before and, well, what the hell, I'll say it again.  The risks and challenges in the "hobby" are not what they seem.  Examples:

-Providers keep too much data in the hope that it will somehow protect them, and in the end, it has always been the provider with the data that took the brunt of whatever consequence there was.

-We think the real risk in the business is LE, or STDs, and it's not, it's provider's gone wild, with us, or our data, involved as a pawn in a spat between providers.

-We extend to most people the assumption of having honest intentions, when in reality, there are some viscous, sinister people involved in this who are hell-bent on harming innocent people.  Our societal/cultural values fool us into assuming that the "Hannibal Lecters" of the world are men... yet men have no monopoly on evil.

-We think that in a closed eco-system, like the hobby, that we can execute pin-point strikes when in reality we can't.  Anytime a provider or hobbyist goes off the deep end and decides to "take someone out" the consequences always end up being a huge mess that injures more innocent bystanders than it does parties to the battle.  And almost with certainty, it injures the party that fired the salvo as bad, or worse than the one that it was targeted at.

I don't know any of the specifics of the providers recently booted from the business by another provider.  I do know that it really is happening, and that it seems to be continuing as we speak, with no end in sight.  I can't for the life of me understand the motivations behind what's going on in the twin cities.

You have hit the nail right on the head there!  Hobbyists are as much, if not more, at risk than other providers.  It is difficult to remain anonymous when making an appointment with any provider who requires enough information to feel safe with you.  Now, you have become vulnerable to harassment, intimidation and extortion if that is the name of the game being played.  And, if you have enough to lose, you play the game by paying "hush money".  Has it happened here?  You can bet the family jewels on it.  The sad thing is that the old saying is true, "It only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel."  What is the solution?  Make some applesauce!

Well I can agree that this is happening from personal issues I have had in the past. All I can say is that I would let it out in the open as to warn others!

What a poor commentary on MN love!!!  If someone can single handedly bring the comunitee to its feet, tht person shold be acshamed!  I never came in here to fight whit any body.  But evefry time I log on I am confronted with more crap.  when will it evr end?  It seems to me that the "provider" responsivble  for all of this is no provider at alll.  She has to be classified as a total nutcase who is so sick that she has no idea what is right and what is wrong.  I for one think the battles between the grils is diresctly linked to one person who is paranoyed and needs to be in a mental hospital where her behavor can be managed 24/7.  I also belive that the girls need to be asurred of our love and suport for them.  

I beg the person (I think it is a girl) who is hellbent on stiring up trioujble to please stop it NOW.  You will not come out of this as a happy person.  You can only get sicker and sicker the more you try to hirt people like you are.  So, please stop it NOW!!!!!!

She is the one of a million and one aliases.  I’m sure you’ll be hearing from many of them soon, LOL.  On second thought, I think she’s FINALLY been put on moderated status for her outlandish behavior.  I guess she’ll have to unleash her minions to do her dirty work this time.

Everyone but the greenest of newbies to the scene knows of whom we speak.  She has been around since the beginning of time (the beginning of the net provider scene).  It’s high time her reign of terror ended.  I hope everyone is stocking up on garlic and holy water.

Undead is right, she has been around a very long time and has caused serious problems for a few providers I was seeing.  Unfortunately she was always held innocent by most and others were blamed unjustly for causing the trouble!  Hopefully now her time to pay her dues has come.

You are exactly right.  We alkl know who she is.  And, yes, she will fill tis board with more of her distructive crap thru those who are under balackmail threats from her.  Anhd, yues, you are right again when yuou say she  has been around since the beginning of interfnet hobbiing.  What a legacy to leave behind:
1) You made no one happy.  We just  pretended we were so yuo would not threaten us.
2) You failed in ylour attempt to be the most popular lady in town.
3) Even us pacifists don't wish you well if you are within range of any other provider or any us guys.
4) You have left nothing but a failed patern of trouble.
5) You have NO friends in the bisness.
6) Even those who work or used to work for you wish they had never met you.

That should make you rtealy proud of yourself!  I don;t like sayihg these things, but it has been building up in me for many years and it is time to tell you to truth.

I would think that is how most of the guys got caught up in all this mess.....

One of the providers I was referring to below has echoed you very thoughts to me many times!  Make you wonder how many she has gone after and caused trouble for.

I think the several ladies who have come forward and posted that it happened to them is pretty concrete.

According to two providers that I have met, there is a provider out there that keeps detailed computer records on all hobbyists that she meets or arranges for....

I, too, am not a newbie, nor a frequent hoobyist, buyt I have NO clue as to whom is doing what. I ask some one to pleas PM me as well with the basic story and who to avoid. I haven't been able to make contact with some of the lovely providers in MN that I would like to and don't know why.
