I don't post here often, but when I do I use an alias.  I change the alias sometimes.  I'm just very careful to protect my privacy.

I do read this board quite often, usually every night.  I think part of the recent controversy is based on our perspective, who we are.

Most of the people on this board seem like very nice people (although I don't know anyone on this board directly, hobbyists or providers).

I'm a nice guy.  I've never mistreated a provider or even been mean to one.  So, when I see negative reviews of providers I tend to think the provider is at fault.  I often don't stop to think that some of those guys are probably not being nice to the providers like I am.

I suppose the reverse may also be true.  If you are an exceptional provider and someone posts a negative review of another provider perhaps your view (as a provider) is somewhat skewed because you believe that all providers in general offer very good service and are not out to rip people off.

I'm not saying that any particular hobbyist or provider is 100% this way.  I'm just saying that it may influence all of our opinions to some degree.
