Donation amount

So, I've been out of the game for about 3 years and have the itch again.  I've noticed that donation amounts are a lot higher now then a couple of years ago.  $250 hour then now seems to be $400.  Is this from Covid or did they start going up prior to that.  I'm looking for fs, gfe, with possibility of multi pops.  Any recommendations would be great.

your post says you’ve been out of the game for 3 years but your last review is for December 2020? That bit is intriguing but I’d say it’s more than just COVID… a lot of providers, especially ones who had delisted in the area, were at the 350-400 mark prior to COVID. Personally, I think rates have been pretty stagnant in our area as I rarely see someone local trying to charge more than $500/hr.

I dropped out because this site disappeared. I am merely speculating but I would guess the ladies had to be very careful during the past 16 months as to who the saw and incomes suffered. Now they're seeing pent up demand and are looking to recover their lost revenue JMHO

COVID may have had something to do with it but rates were going up before the pandemic hit.

Yes gone up to fast for me, been cutting back.I think prices started to rise after the Superbowl and all star game. Prices exploded, oh well still a few reasonable seasoned pros out there.

I’ve argued this many times on these boards before and I will say it again.

Hair appointments, nail appointments, make up, shoes (we’re you going to run around barefoot if you weren’t working this job?) were things you would be doing regardless of wether or not you were providing.

Waxing I’ll give you a pass on this time but I know plenty of woman who don’t who still pay for waxing.

You give me a discount for razors, shaving cream, hair appointments, deodorant and assorted sundries and you can make that argument.

Otherwise your point is ridiculous.  Or did the price I pay for those things not increase also?

It's like anything in life, you get what you pay for, Quality or Quantity. Everyone or everything has a value, charge what you think that your worth. I prefer quality. I've made the mistake of going for price and came away regretting it. Each to their own. Their are some great providers with decent prices.

Jordan mich as I'd like to agree, I cant.
Prices have gone up but has the average wage gone up competitively?  Not really.
Take an average 25 an hour wage and it gets a 3, 4 or if really lucky, 5% per year.
A provider can now charge 4 or 5 bills, or 6.
Does that seem fair. I think not.
Not saying providers should get 25 an hour but hoping you see the gap here.
That said, would love to visit you sometime but...I've said in other threads, it's not made of gold. Prices are not in line.

but as long as escorts are making sales, they'll keep charging as much as the market will bear.  Shop around.  Avoid the over priced girls.

As a provider who has gotten to meet many of my colleagues in the area, this idea that these (hair appointments, nail appointments, etc) are things we "would be doing regardless" is a pretty major assumption. Not all providers buy into being hyper feminine all the time, even in their real life day to day. Instead, due to the fact that we are aware that hyper femininity works for branding and business that's why we engage in it.

The reason I bring this up is because there are differences in getting a trim every few months and going to the dry bar to get your hair styled for an appointment so it's more manageable. There's a major difference in wearing tinted moisturizer and lip gloss day to day versus putting on makeup in a way that has staying power, even through all the fun, for a date. Some of us have no desire to own 3 to 4 piece lingerie sets but clients request it for dates. Some of us have no desire to wear heels and instead enjoy our chucks but clients request we wear them for dates. Some of us have no desire to get our nails done; however, due to our profession being heavily dependent on aesthetic, we know it can add to our femininity, especially if the manicure is nude, light pink, or red in color. Clients want to feel like they are in a luxurious but comfortable environment, so we rent or buy static incalls where we can curate a space to make you feel welcome and relaxed (additional furniture costs). Some providers have to acquire the hotel incall for your appointment. Then there are the supplies that we need to ensure we are on top of. Don't even get me started on the turnaround on towels and sheets. Somewhere along the line for some clients, their momma, girlfriend or wife let them think it was okay to not wash themselves, including the crack of the behind, with soap and a washcloth and instead it gets on the towels or the sheets.

Although I don't agree with your logic, if I look at it from a client POV, especially a client that isn't as privy to the inner workings on our side, I can understand where you're coming from and why you're saying it with you're whole chest.

What does inflation have to do with prices? Any business is  free to set their own price structure, and the consumer is free to spend their money as they see fit.

Fairness has nothing to do with this hobby

I get both sides. In the two industries which are completely different from one another that I make my living in, we have increased pricing to cover growing overhead and, if you will, inflation. I also pay a lot more than I used to for everything, ie 2x4x8, meals and SUV’s.
The Twin Cities as a whole, has some pretty step pricing compared to some other parts of the Country. We also have a lot of variety of sexy, very great providers.
To each there own if the pricing is in line with the experience. I for one, am blessed I can enjoy the hobby on occasion, see great providers, and enjoy good enough health I’m still in the game. Ain’t sweating pricing or taking my health for granted, just enjoying the ride(s)😉

It’s P4P and the supply/demand market determines the prices. The prices are only valid if someone is willing to pay. I typically choose the higher prices based on looks/reviews, although there seem to be plenty of lower price providers out there. That being said, I’ve had some absolute incredible experiences and some of them have been meh. It’s all about affordability and comfort zone. That’s my two cents.
