During December I sent a couple of requests via P411 to ladies I'd seen before and then didn't get a response. Since I knew them, I called and both told me they never saw an email. These were also the only times I had P411 send me a copy of the email. Not sure what happened, but I'd say if you don't hear in 24 hours, just try again.
I guess this might be more of a question for the lady's but what is the "normal" amount of time to expect a response from a provider via email from her website

I would have thought 24-48 hrs I have been waiting 3 days I know stuff happens and everybody has lives just did'nt know what the normk is as I am new to this
In the case of P411, you can see when the provider last logged on. So when I see that she has not respond to a formal request after several logons, I get discouraged.
It doesn't make upset, it just moves me to another provider.
But why would you wait 72 hours for a response? I'm moving on after 24 hours, I write a second "sorry it didn't work out to meet" email which usually gets a response within 30 minutes. This is a business would you allow 72 hours for a business response?

but didn't have time to shoot a message over. I do this sometimes, and I'll admit sometimes I forget about an email after a crazy day of lots of emails and other things going on. Let alone the junk email box! 24-48 hours is a good amount of time, if you really like her, send her an email when you start getting anxious and say hey miss lady, I sent you a p411 request, have you received it? This will prompt her to look for your email if she forgot about it, didn't get to it, or had it sent to her junk box.
3 days seems excessive. Ladies who logon and seem to be avoiding your request may have reasons like your likes are not compatible with what they offer - IE I often message men who have BBBJ as very important and say, I hope its not that important, if you see me we will not be doing that. They usually say OK, no problem! This may be one reason they don't even bother messaging you. OR your age is too old/young for them, you don't have enough OK's to make them feel comfortable, or they found out you are blacklisted or something and don't want to waste their time!
Just giving a few reasons for the behavior, but not condoning it. Things do happen in life and day-to-day, but in order to be successful you have to prioritize tasks for your business, and communication is vital.

Thanks for the replies everybody I had just inquired in my email what she wanted for verifacation and admitted to being a newbie I am prettty sure she has met newbies before so don't know what the deal is, may try once more. Thanks again everybody
I realize that gals are busy and get a lot of emails. It does not bug me in the least if I send a PM or email or text to a gal just to say hello or noticed that she was online, but I find not responding to a formal appointment request off putting. It is her business and I am just trying to be a client. I don't waste the energy getting upset, I just move on.
24 hours seems more than sufficient to reply to an email request. Specifically, as providers we are obligated to respond to p411 generated requests. In the event a provider is unavailable at the requested day and time, I believe it is fair for the requesting client to receive a reply regardless of what information is listed in his profile. If one emails a provider directly, yes it is possible it landed in the spam folder- however, I must presume p411 provider members have their email settings to always allow these notifications.

And there is always the possibility she is taking time off or otherwise not available for a while. Also, did you check if she expects certain information to be in an initial email? Some providers won't answer if you don't provide the requested info.
If you are really interested in meeting her, you might try a second request. Sometimes emails go into junk mail and not everybody checks their junk mail on a regular basis.
I usually check mine a couple times a day, but when I am away from the computer and just using my cell phone to check my emails, I have had things sit in junk mail for a couple of days.
A lot depends on what I'm doing that day though.
If I'm busy with non hobby related things it takes me longer. So I'd suggest try again to see if they respond.
