I agree that often providers are given performance ratings higher than the guidelines would normally allow. I guess it has to do with who ever the TER person is who approves the review and whether or not they got laid last night. In the example you provided, however, the reviewer justifies giving her a 9 for performance, viz;
7 to start
8 kisses with tongue
9 offers anal

I've had a review cut back from a 10 to a 9 for performance in spite of me clearly justifying the higher score in the text of my review.

I've been noticing a LOT more reviews lately where the provider is rated as an 8, 9 and sometimes even 10 when they only offer a CBJ.  My understanding is that TER generally says that if they only offer CBJ they can only get a maximum rating of 7.

I guess it's one thing if they offer uncovered, but you request covered.  But that doesn't seem to be the case based on the reviews.  The attached is one example.

If you had a great time, that's good.. that will come out in your review. But, it's hard to take a review seriously if you are ratings someone as a 9 or 10 when they clearly have a limited menu.

I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with a provider with limitations, just that they shouldn't receive perfect or near perfect ratings if they do.

This is from TER's guidelines for submitting a review

"In order to keep our performance ratings consistent, we set up the following system: An escort provider is only eligible to earn up to a 7, unless she is willing to perform one or some of the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, and Anal Sex. For each of these services that are offered, her potential max score is raised by one point, with 10 as an absolute maximum.

This does not mean she earns extra points for offering the service(s); just that she is now eligible for a higher score. Her maximum eligible score is based on what is offered, not what is performed during your session with her. You may or may not be interested in the “extra” services she offers, but the fact she offers them makes her eligible for the higher score."

So, an escort can get a 10 and still only do CBJ so long as the other services are available, which means that they don't have to happen so long as they are part of what she offers.

I don't like the limitations anyway but that is what TER has written about this.

Interesting. I was not aware of this. I have scored mine on how good a time I had, in and out of the sack. I was under the impression that I was hobbying for pleasure and enjoyment. How naive of me.

So, ratings are determined based on menu. Interesting.

Vorlon is correct in  the quote from TER guidlines..... However it says that is to be used as a guidline to keep reviews consistent..... It is still your option to rate a lady as you see fit, within those guidelines. I always thought DATY should be included in the list as well and I have probably taken liberites on that and gotten away with it. I have also had my rating lowered by TER staff a time or two.

I do agree there should be more lee way to rate a provider higher for a great time or a good personal connection. Afterall, we can do a serch for specific acts and do not need to rely on just the performance ratings.
The system is not perfect, but it is the best available, in my opinion.

The reviewer in question generally gives high marks.Just look at the history.I'm not saying that is bad but that's his style.I take all reviews with a grain of salt.All I want from a review is, is she legit and are the pictures accurate and somewhat current.YMMV also plays a big part in all of this.I could be wrong about this but I also wonder if a frequent reviewer gets his reviews less scrutinized and these just get passed through more easily.
