Would it surprise you to know that TER is a privately run, "for profit" business? I believe that the TER business plan involves providing services to customers and charging the customers for those services. In this instance, the service is providing information to persons with an interest in that information, FOR A FEE. I have a similar job at a "for profit" business, and maybe you do too.
If you feel that providing information services, for a profit, is improper, you may wish to look elsewhere for information that is provided for free. Backpage, CityVibe and Wikipedia are free and available to anyone, without charge. Public libraries are also a source of free information. You should check them out.
Please forgive me for the rant I'm about to share...
I am absolutely sick of the lack of information available in some people's reviews as well as the requirement by T.E.R. to be a VIP member in order to see anything at all about a provider. This website has gone so far downhill since I joined almost three years ago it's not even funny. When I joined you could actually see things like their looks and performance ratings (which I hear the site actually caps now based on their menu? wtf), what they offered, their prices and some useful information in the General Details section. Upon seeing some things that I liked, I used to decide to upgrade my membership for the month to get the rest of the information. Call me stubborn but with all the changes made around here I just flat out don't want to put my money in the hands of a company that forces us to upgrade to get anything useful out of this site, even if it is a good idea to become a VIP.
Anyway, that wasn't even the original subject of this rant. The straw that broke the camel's back was coming across this gem in the general details section of a review:
"Standard 2 call system - arrived at the hotel called again and received the room number, I go up, and she opens the door… VIPs read on."
Really...? What the hell is that? These types of reviews are popping up more and more all the time and it drives me crazy. Could people PLEASE try to put some actual information in there such as how she looked, whether or not the service was good, if you would see her again, etc. You know... something actually worth reading. You don't have to spill any "Juicy Details" about the encounter but come on. That review tells me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Side rant; why does everyone feel the need to tell VIPs to read on? Do you really think that without your guidance they would somehow forget to read the rest of the review?
Now with this being an online forum I will now probably be flamed by the regulars (if the mods even allow this to get posted) for not just biting the bullet and going VIP. I don't hobby often enough to make that worthwhile and like I said, I don't like the idea of giving my money to a site that is trying so hard to rip people off. Hopefully I'm not the only one frustrated in here and I'll get a few like-minded replies. Either way, please try to add at least something useful to the General Details sections of your reviews. Thank you.
Bitching and complaining about other hobbyists who do SHARE their reviews.
While I can say that it is true that some do lack details in the general section I would never bitch about it.
BTW, I think I have used "VIP's read on" over 40 times. I will do it for the next 40 just to get under your skin.
Try posting some reviews of YOUR OWN for your fellow hobbyists, and you won't have to be "forced" into paying for VIP.

I have personally submitted 6+ reviews and NOT ONE OF THEM HAS EVER BEEN POSTED !!
To say we need to post our own - well when you try and nothing gets posted - well WTF ! I was hoping to get VIP status - I have several other reviews that should get posted, because of what I consider scams, but they don't get posted. No feedback either - in case I was violating some written or unwritten rule, but no communication what so ever, and nothing gets posted.
If TER wants the money for VIP's, just say so and don't dangle the VIP carrot with 3 POSTED reviews, that they will NEVER post. Also - it does ALL members, VIP & non-VIP alike a dis-service when I have valuable information to post, and they decide not to.
I am sure there are people that check the general details and never post a thing, but to accuse someone of not posting when they very well may have, is, IMHO, a mistake.
Just my 2 pesos worth......

you couldn't follow simple directions well enough to get a review posted not once, but 6 times.
I call bullshit. Nobody is that inept.
Some of them it's a wonder they have survived as long as they have.
Here's what I would suggest: Shell out $20 for a one month VIP. Go to your account manager and look up the reviews you posted under "My Reviews". You will have a message on each of them as to why they were not approved . Make the corrections and resubmit. Once these are approved, you will have an additional 90 days credit for a total of 4 months for $20. If you continue to post at last one review every two weeks, you'll never pay for VIP again.
You can access the My Reviews even without VIP access. He could go in and see what's wrong with those 6 reviews right now.

TER doesn't make money by giving away the "good stuff." You do get to see the physical description section of the profile and the list of reviews, which should tell you something; a girl with a lot of reviews is probably pretty good at what she does.
I certainly don't agree with everything TER does (I'm still hoping I wake up one day and discover the new format was just a bad dream) but it has been very valuable for me as a hobbyist. Is $20/month really too much to ask to minimize your chances of having a bad experience?
Why don't I just pay for the VIP extras or write some reviews of my own? I'd be more than happy to if I was able to see escorts more often but, as I said, I don't hobby much. Since I joined I have only seen two providers, the last being about a year and a half ago. Neither experience was particularly enjoyable but I didn't feel that it was the girl's fault either time, I just wasn't really into them. I couldn't give an honest review of either encounter without giving them bad scores and I didn't think it was fair to possibly hurt their business just because my experiences were less than stellar. I'm not some doctor, lawyer or C.E.O. with a six figure salary and nothing but time on his hands who can see two girls a week. I'm an average guy with a normal job who doesn't make enough and has a life to work around. I also live about 90 minutes away from the cities and am not very familiar with it. I generally lack the time, the money and/or the will to make a 3+ hour round trip drive (not counting the appointment itself) to some metro area I have never been to especially when the girl could just be a NCNS or worse.
I apologize if I ruffled any feathers and I admit that my rant did snowball into a little more than I expected it to. However, the heart of the matter remains the same. I don't think it's too much to expect a little pertinent information from the General Details section of a review.
TER likely won't allow much detail in the general section and I do see a fair amount of reviews that say in the general details whether or not they would see the girl again. Honestly, I doubt the situation will change make of TER what you can and/or find other sources of information.
what a shocker!!!! someone trying to get something for nothing. pay up or shut up!
It's not really my way, but if you can budget $300 (or whatever dollar amount) to see an escort, most likely you can budget $20 for a membership. So, buy VIP for *one* month and cancel it at the end of the month. You will be out of $20, but you will have an entire month to research the beautiful ladies here.
$300 (Escort's time) + $20 (VIP) = $320
This seems most logical, if you don't want to pay for VIP yearly, yet you'd like to do some research before meeting a lady.
But your post was really a rant on there not being enough information available in the general details section. As a member who has to pay for her full VIP membership, it seems fair to me that my (or any other provider's) information be available to members who are also VIP, rather than additional details available for free. So if providers have to pay for full VIP, it makes sense that you do too if you want to see more information on these paying members.
Good luck!
I agree. This site has really gone down hill in my 10+ years. I will not be renewing my vip membership.
