If you have the time and patience, I have been successful about 50% of the time using the one-line ads at tcuncovered, but I only resort to that if I am desperate and short of cash.  Most of the providers at that level are in your range.  Be prepared to make a lot of calls and ask for a detailed description.  Try to limit it to independent listings not the agencies or agencies pretending to be independents.  No way you are ever going to get a nice lady if she has to split $.5 with the agency.  If you get one that sounds nice (pay attention to the attitude of the person - if they sound tired and bored thats what the session will be like) make an appt (many are available on short notice) and when you get there if she doesn't appear as described or if the place is a shithole, just tell her you just got a call from the wife and will have to reschedule.  (yeah its a lie but better than saying something like "you're not my type" or "you are not what I was expecting".

You know the ropes! I'm with you Oldy. Yes it's hit and miss and does require some effort, but that's part of the fun of it because every so often you'll discover that fresh new face or uncover that "hidden treasure". And they definitely are out there.

Yeah, but its too bad the TC doesn't have an adult classifed paper like some cities where there are a lot of photo ads.  When I lived in Tampa, there were two there that had sections where independents advertized with biz card size photo ads.  At least you had something to go on to save time trying to visualize a lady's looks from a verbal description.
