the truth should really be that if "she enjoys what she does", then the lowering of the fees is to get some new clients.......... AND if she delivers stellar service because "she enjoys what she does" then the guys should see that and offer up great reviews just as a common courtesy.....
the question i would have is what rate is being set and discussed with the new guy if he has a future with her in repeat business, and how do we advertise that for her in our review......if i read a review that says 200.00 i would not want to be sticker shocked when i presented for my session and was told another number....as we know, men, we never leave cuz something else always does the talking and then we come here to bitch to the masses
I don't see anything negative on this - promotions and specials drive volume, which drives repeat business, works for everyone.
Most important is expectations are set in both directions and no surprises My .02
Simple just say she was running a special. And then go a little step farther if you liked her and say "See her guys before her special is over" bigdell

I was just looking at a "special" being offered by a provider I had always wanted to see, but was out of my self imposed budget.
For me, price is only one consideration, but it is an important one.
Run a "special" you actually might get more business, and the outcome could be that you make more money at a lower price point.
Lets say you have an hour rate of 300..
Instead of lowering your rate,, opt of ad an additional 30 minutes as a special.
Or offer a hh at 200 .. but thats a clockwatcher rate, because there are clients who will opt for the HH and then try to go over..
For me, I like longer engagements, so I opt to offer specials on anything 90 minutes or higher.
If you are listed with P411 offer a $25 discount to members
Give a members discount to VIP's that have verifiable references ,, that helps with the screening process,,
Lets say you advertize here, P411, BP, Eros etc..
Keep your rates the same on BP and Eros but offer a discount to members of a board or screen site you advertize on..
There's alot of thought that should go into how you decide your rates, like, do you want to be high volume versus low volume , who is your target client, what are your goals aka long term versus short term, look at other women who you are similar to and see what their rates are ..
Introductory rates are not looked down upon or scoffed at, its a great way to build a clientele ..
ANd as you build your business you can slowly over time inch your rate up
So an intro offer of 250 and then you set yourself a goal that once you reach 5 reviews your bumpin it to 275 and then you hit 10 reviews and you bump your rate to 300 which is about the average..
If you are patient and are looking at this at a long term thing,, then you can get to where you want to be ..
