I set up an incall which turned out to be in a location in St Paul (I didn't know before the appointment). It turned out the provider had something come up - and she was kind enough to call to cancel. But I was thinking that there's been some hesitation by others to visit St Paul recently - I'm thinking related to LE activity.
Anyone care to share their thoughts on the avisability of scheduling an encounter in St Paul? If you would rather not discuss on the open board feel free to PM me.
Stay away from seedier parts of town (just like you would any other city), be leary of providers who do not screen, and see reviewed providers or those you have seen before.
If you follow this advice and that of the other posters, you should do just fine in St. Paul or any other city/suburb!
St. Paul and some other areas are riskier because LE is more agressive based on what I hear (no personal experience to confirm that, thankfully!) However, in all those areas providers still operate successfully. I wouldn't rule out seeing a girl just because she is in St. Paul but it is something you should keep in mind and be extra careful about IMHO.
I can't disagree with you. But at some point it is just an urban legend, that we keep repeating to ourselves until we all believe it.
Both Minneapolis and St. Paul have a "wall of shame" web site. Based on the dates given, the numbers of pictures and the relative size of the cities, it is hard to get a feel for how aggressive they are.
Also, if they are running street decoys, I really don't care how aggressive they are.
I agree - it's hard to know why St Paul has this reputation - hence my original post. I do note that the although the last time the pictures of arrestees was posted - April 2010 - it only contained busts in March of 2009 - either a lag or a sample. I guess I'd not want my picture posted in either event, but not any worse than Minneapolis.

You may very well be right. We don't really have a practical way of accurately measuring the level of LE activity in any particular city or suburb. Humans are good at seeing info that supports our established ideas and downplaying info that does not.
St Paul vice has been pretty active in setting up on line stings and cracking down on pay for sex . Just check for massage parlors, most of them in Mpls and other burbs and none in St Paul. That should tell you something.Word on the street is to steer clear of St Paul if you have other options.
You know it & I know it but it still makes some providers a little nervous. A recent provider pointed that out to me. It was something that had not occurred to me up to that point.
