The picture enlargement thing is simply not the case.  You cannot tell is pics are fake, just because they don't enlarge.   There are many women (who I have seen) who have Backpage ads with "non-enlarging" photos.

I think a good rule of thumb for backpage ads is that if the pictures cannot be enlarged they are usually fake.
