The only people I talk to about my experiences are people I have met through the hobby.  To talk about it with other people is like playing with a live grenade; if the pin comes out then boom.

I am married, live in a small town and have absolutely noone to talk to about my hobby. Does talking help add anything to your experiences? Can you not wait to share your latest adventure or misadventure?  Have you ever wished you had kept your mouth shut?

Sometimes I feel like I am bursting at the seams to tell someone what I have been up to. They wouldn't believe it!!

I agree with Vorlon,  and I'll add " are you out of your fucking mind!" You jepordize all you have when you talk to a civilian. Do you really think they will keep your secret? Be safe!!!!!

I agree with both of the above comments....'Loose lips sink ships' I think I heard way back when.
Can't afford for this ship to sink!

It would be a good day for me if one of my buddies told me that he also hobbied.  You first, buddy.

Yeah, It would be great if a buddy told me about his hobby, but even then I'd be cautious.

Make contact first through TER PMs, emails, etc.  Then meet your hobby friend for a drink and you might hit it off or you might not.  I've met a few and become very good friends with one as we each have an understanding of each other that no one else can.  We have a mutual story that we share with others as to how we met.  What's really amusing is when we are in large groups including family members and we chuckle privately as to the coronaries that would happen if they knew of how we met.   Neither of us hobby anymore because of our current civie lives, but occasionally share stories from the past while we fish together, attend ball games and so forth.

Sometimes I meet guys through work and wonder if they aren't doing the same thing as myself, but I also agree with Vorlon.  Fessing up to anyone would be a no-win situation.  I worry enough about things as they are without adding unnecessary risk of exposure.

As long as you can type, you can just share your feelings on this board!!

I'm not nuts! I haven't uttered a peep but it is sometimes tempting. I have read posts that led me to believe that others talked to coworkers etc. and I wondered.

I have one friend who I met at a M & G some time back.  I would just assume we did not though.  This is the UTR zone for me.

I find that using TER mail is a good option to talk with fellow hobbyist about the ladies. It's fun and you can brag all you want so long as you let the other guy do so too. Sometimes I even get great insights into new or different ladies that are particular favorites of a hobbyist.

I would NEVER tell anybody. You never know what will get out and I like to keep 'em guessing as to why I'm smiling!

I'd never share this with anyone. The only person you can trust 100% is you. If you have anything to risk (family, job, etc) do not say a fucking thing.

Some of my "friends" say if you write your review like you would tell your best friend the story, it serves the same purpose.. Then you can keep quiet and still share...

Just my thoughts....
