So I went to see a reviewed Massage Provider for an advertised $0.85 hour massage.  As we started the massage I mentioned to her I saw her reviews on TER.  

She says, Oh you are looking for a sensual massage that is $$ for an hour. Wooo! that is over twice the advertised price. For security reasons, I do not carry more than $0.20 over the advertised price.  

So do you have the extra money? No.  
Ok, how much do you have? I had to fork over all the cash.  
For that I will give you a 30 minute sensual massage.  
 
Sure, but she had sucked the fun out of it.

I thought a 1 hr professional erotic/sensual message was always about 160 an hour. Did you really expect to get a full hour of sensual massage for $85.? I've never heard of that.  

Also it should be noted that: if a provider has a special, she does NOT provide 110 percent full possible services for that special price. I see you're understandably aggravated, but it has been mentioned on the TER boards that the providers are equally as aggravated (Katherine Astor, Posted 8/14/2014 at 11:01:55 AM, (1.) Improper donation). It is clear that these things need to be communicated well before the appointment, i.e. is your special for an hour of sensual message, or when you get to the appointment.    

Example: I see on TER that a provider has a generous menu. Then she has a special for 50 percent off. I go there thinking that I'm going to get the "full monty" for a low price, such as GFE, BL, BB, and taking photos all for $$$ .....I will end up disappointed and frustrated. If a provider has a special, I would expect to have a good time with a limited menu at a discounted rate....period

I'm not trying to be a BUZZ KILL, but I carry significantly more than the donation with me because I'm trying to get upgraded to something the provider does NOT advertise she does (I guess I just let the cat out of the bag). If you don't want to carry more than an extra JACKSON with you for "security reasons", then I promise you, you will never unleash the possible unadvertised services I have unlocked from beautiful providers, but refuse to disclose (at their request).

And please for the love of pete, don't expect providers to be so generous when your not.

An awesome statement, do not expect generosity with time or service -if you yourself are not generous. These lines are clearly drawn to take out the guess work & drama of everyday situations.  
We have an agreement be generous don't talk about it, point it out, try to barter or talk about future generosity/loyalty, clearly lay it where it belongs.
Don't play the I write reviews game/or any game, talk is cheap actions speak. Let yours be clear.

Shoot! A legitimate massage can cost up to $120 without the tip included around here.
I've only heard of a happy ending type massage going for that rate at an AMP not so much at an individuals place.  
130-200 is around avg. Even then there's no guarantee...

If a gal advertises in the body rub section for an $85 dollar special, should the customer expect to receive a therapeutic massage and then upgrade to a sensual massage?  I would really like to see the ad and have more information before saying the OP expected too much.  

Once, after arranging a meeting with a gal who had advertised in the escort section on BP, I was given a half-ass $200 massage and then expected to upgrade to full service.  She acted like wow, you were expecting sex, oh my that will be much more.  I knew I was getting ripped off and let the girl know.  We ended up coming to an arrangement but the fun was gone just as the OP said.

Another time I paid $150, received a poor back rub, and was told full serve would be another $400.  I walked out that time, just a little poorer and hopefully wiser.  Both times I shared this information on TER, including a link.

My experience over the years is that "specials" are a bunch of crap.  I know most of the gals and their regular prices.  Gals that advertise "specials" usually advertise to draw guys in and hit with upgrades.  But what bothers me about massage providers is when the newbies who don't know what they're doing charge the same as the established providers....  but, hey, I am a "free market" guy, so I don't return to those...

The land of 10,000 fools that will pay upwards of $200 just for the privilege of whacking it themselves.

If it was a lot higher that to me would have been a warning flag.
