Recently, I visited a well reviewed massage provider, for the first time. I was about 1/2 way through a disappointing massage by a fully clothed woman. To move things along, I asked about some of the extras that were described in her TER reviews. She responded that I was rude to ask for those services on my first visit, and lectured me on "massage manners." She could not have been concerned about LE or she wouldn't have been doing what she was doing.
I often read TER reviews where a provider falls short of expectations and tells a first time visitor that "more may be available" or "it'll be better next time."
I really don't understand this strategy by a provider. Who goes to a new restaurant, gets a bad meal, and then goes back again to see if the food is better, or if it is still bad?
Several years ago, I saw a well reviewed TER provider who has been around for years. The first time I saw her, she did everything I expected, based on her reviews, and just blew my mind. I have seen her 30-40 times since then and never been disappointed.
Before I saw her, I was hesitant because I thought she was too expensive for me. After I experienced her for myself, I thought she was a bargain.
I see nothing wrong with this, honestly, as she is a massage provider.
Would it be fair to assume that you have limited experience as a recipient of "sensual massage?"
You never said you went for a sensual masssage. You said she was a massage provider. She provided a massage. I know several massage providers who provide full service to their regular clientele but not on the first visit.
I do not agree with the wait a few visits to see if it gets better approach. No massage is worth 100.00 or more if no kind of sensual or extra is offered. Maybe we need to hear what 3 cups got for the "disappointing part" and what he paid for it. You can find a great.... i mean amazing.... massage with no extras from a trained therapist for 45-60 dollars but if i am looking for extras then i expect to pay for them and get a service on the first day that i pay the "extra" price. Just my thoughts....sorry to but in.

Agreed. If you're paying $ or more, there should be Something extra other than
a "next time". Btw I'm losing my 'therapist' for the last two years this Friday.

Very high end spas charge $90+ and that's a legit massage no extras.
However with us "other " massage gals it will always be YMMV no matter what the rate.
I mean some gents I REALLY like and they may get further the first time with me more than others.
Some don't make it past my basic session and need more patience.
I always deliver something well worth the visit at least.

In my experience, the "teaser play" is a deception. Plain and simple. There's a reason some women get booked solid every day they want to work and others have to play these games. Chock it up to experience, and NEVER return. You can find plenty of better ones, the others will disappear in time.

I wonder if she might have thought you were LE?!?! I don't know who your talking about... so, I can't vouche personally... but, the only thing that popped in my mind... was... did she think you might have been LE? I mean, personally, I know some providers that don't start taking things off... until yours are off! Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the provider!

My understanding is that there is typically less screening in massage and concern about LE is a big reason why mileage varies. Both providers and clients would be better served with screening.
It would be extremely time consuming if they started doing that not to mention the loss of money .
i know a few that screen they modo is quality vs quantity... the more one screens the less likely they are to be busted.
Her response seemed a bit harsh, considering what may come down the road. If I got that response I would move on. I wonder if 3 cups got to leave "happy" at least since he only mentions the massage. Promises down the road better start with a very good taste of things to come or I would move on.
If her reviews state she did extras and she didn't give em to you move on. This bullshit with massage providers saying next time honey I'll do blah blah blah or go ahead and DIY needs to stop right now. For some reason she screwed you over and I wouldn't give her another chance to take you hard earned cash.

I choose not to identify the massage provider because my comments are directed to the practice of promising "next time" and I merely related that experience as an example. Also, I don't want to engage in an on-line debate with a provider, as others have done.
